About SMF
About SMF
1
•SMF Poland Sp. z o.o. formed in 2006
2
•Producer and constructor of machines for packaging industry
3
•Company strategy is based on the company’s owner long experience in the global PET making machines market.
About SMF
Factors that decided to locateSMF w RPP SWIDNIK
Access to qualified engineer cadre
Relatively low employment costs
Localizing in the Industrial Park in Swidnik creates a chance to quickly gather technical cadres and essential suppliers and using the support of academic environment of Lublin
About SMF
About SMF
Major projects realized by SMF - 1
"Developing a new generation of PET packaging, production processing and prototypes”
Project realized within Technology Initiative Project value: 5 375 232 PLN (1 343 808,00 EUR)
Project donation: 3 691 150 PLN (922 787,00 EUR)
Developing construction of highly efficient pre-form and tooling system processing unit,
Developing of automatic temperature regulation unit for blow-type pre-forms during processing,
Developing technology and tooling system prototypes for hot-fill packaging processing,
Developing technology and machine prototypes for anti-diffusion coating processing for PET packaging.
THE PROJECT REGARDED FOLLOWING ISSUES
Major projects realized by SMF - 2
" Black coal with catalytic additives combustion: development of technology and its implementation"
Project realized within POIG Performance 1.4-4.1Project value: 12 957 016,00 PLN (3 239 254,00 EUR)
Project donation: 6 561 039,00 PLN (1 640 260,00 EUR)
Project concerns performing research on a pro-environment technology for increasing efficiency of black coal combustion with limiting carbon, nitrogen and sulfuric oxides emission,
Research enables effective use of this technology in industrial scale,
The research will contain industrial testing of the new product, requiring developing methods of dosing for different kinds of industrial boilers combusting black coal. The effect will verify usefulness and effectiveness of the new technology as well as optimization dosing methods and catalytic additives composites in miscellaneous conditions.
THE PROJECT REGARDED FOLLOWING ISSUES
Major projects realized by SMF - 3
” Concept, construction realization and prototype building of a power turbo-generator small and medium power, powered with alternative
gas fuel”
Project realized within “INITECH” ventureProject value: 2 763 000,00 PLN (690 750,00) EUR
Project donation: 1 526 850,00 PLN (381 712,50 EUR)
The goal of the project is constructing and commercializing a modern in
global scale and as of yet not manufactured in Poland small power turbo-
generator powered with alternative gas fuel, that will combine features of
innovative chemical methods (using a high-efficiency catalyst), modern
combustion processing (developing catalytic combustion chamber) and
innovative mechanical solutions (use of perpendicular and longitudinal gas
bearings).
THE PROJECT REGARDED FOLLOWING ISSUES
Major projects realized by SMF - 4
"Turbo-generator with fumes energy regeneration: development of technology and production implementation"
Project realized within POIG Performance 1.4-4.1Project value: : 5 650 000,00 PLN (1 412 500,00 EUR)
Project donation: 3 723 850,00 PLN (930962,00 EUR)
Project concerns performing research and starting production of a new,
innovative product. The goal of the project is implementing an increasing
alternative or conventional fuel energy usage while converting this energy
into electricity in device for small power supply users (ranging 50-200 kW
with possible widening).

EXPECTED GOOD PRACTICE IN
LUBLIN
EXPECTED GOOD PRACTICE IN LUBLIN
•Commercial style management in Scientific Technology Park in Lublin,
•Well definied a few targets.
Company activity are defined by three areas:
I. Knowledge „production” and popularization in following branches/domains:
A) … ???B) … ???…….
II. Research infrastructrure construction and managemnet
III. Development of innovation economic activity based on commercial rules
Extra slides for our visitors from „old European Union” coming to new Union members, located on furthest
eastern Union confines
• We all know, that the great Project invented by Schuman and Adeauer is about 60 years old, and we know that we, Poland, are in EU structure from 2004 year.
• And we konw that European history means over thousand years of miscelanous confict.
• The question is:
• Is it possible that there were important examples of cohesion before EU Project?
Polish - Lithuanian Union in Lublin - 1569
Polish - Lithuanian Union in Horodlo - 1413
Where is Horodlo and why that Union is so important?
Where is Horodlo and why that Union is so important?
IMPORTANT, because on the base of that Union abut 100 Lithuanian families and clans were adopted to Polish HERALDIC SYSTEM:
Adoption to heraldic system could be undersatood as a kind of COHESION FUNDS:
Bord
erAdoption to heraldic system means that Polish noble families and clans gave to another people very honorable „goods”: coat of arms is a family symbol when possible bloodshed should be devoted for its defense
Families and clans of Lithuanian boyars, beyig adopted to heraldic system, obtained ability to be social and state elite and they can to be on state positinos as foloows:
- Castellan- Governor (wojewoda)- Hetman- Mayor- etc.
Cohesion funds
What is NOW in Horodlo?
Horodlo now: big village on Bug river.,This is Polish-Ukrainian border.
Now this „monument” is on place, where wooden castle were in 1413 year:
SCHENGEN: 1985 year:
