The notion of Mathieu subspaces, as a natural general-ization of ideals, has been introduced by Wenhua Zhao
(a professor at ISU) in 2009. This new notion plays fundamental roles in many different areas of math-
ematics. In this presentation we discuss some proper-ties and classi�ications of Mathieu Subspaces for the
rings of 2x2 matrices over certain �inite rings.
