An eligibility list may be created for similar casual, part-time, full-time, and term positions DUTIES Reporting to the Research Program Manager, the Research Coordinator will support the applied research portfolio currently managed by the Research Partnerships & Innovation office, including new and strategic applied research initiatives at the College. The incumbent will mainly support grant proposal development in collaboration with research professionals and research center leaders, coordinating the collection, analysis, and reporting of research data and other key research metrics, and participating in the promotion of the applied research activities and capabilities of the College. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: review and edit grant proposals; collaborate with research teams and industry partners to identify the right grant to pursue to support applied research projects; support the collection of operational metrics; project management and oversight of short-term applied research projects; support initiatives to engage students on applied research activities; and assist in preparing project reports. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in engineering or diploma in technology management/engineering technology. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience maybe considered.
