Strategic Objectives

Capacity building. Building students’ capacity through working closely with them and guiding them would enable students become better researchers and writers.

Career development. Students who wish to become researchers and or scientific writers in the future will have a good background for their future careers and certainly be better than they would without the foundation.

Mentorship of undergraduates. This is fundamental to the capacity building and career development but if not emphasized can be left out.

Promote Undergraduate research. This shall be a strategic step to increase the number of researchers in the country in the future and as such the College of Health sciences’ rankings as it will admit more postgraduates with a research and scientific publishing background.

Promote publication of undergraduates’ papers in journals e.g. MMJ. This will provide a platform for an undergraduate’s first publication.
