Research and Innovation Team A series of scientific research and operation mechanisms have been established, based on the PI system of Research and Innovation Teams, to form a research atmosphere with both motivation and pressure. Relying on the original clinical disciplines, research labs and laboratories, Research and Innovation Teams have been established. And the teams implemented the Principal-investigator system, which proved authorized strength, relevant research sites and equipment for full-time researchers. The principal investigator is determined by the mechanism of Voluntary-registration and Competition-selection. The team is established by the system of Mutual-selection and Task-orientation, to form a results-oriented and goal-oriented management model, and promotes the reform of salary system of Performance-link. According to the hospital's scientific research and deployment plan, after four batches of construction expiration assessment, 14 A-level Research and Innovation teams were selected. Prof. Wang Obtained the Doctor degree of Clinical Oncology in the University of Hong Kong in 2012. Currently he is the supervisor of Ph.D. and Postdoctoral fellow in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. In 2018, he established the provincial experimental teaching center of integrative cancer research and served as the director. He was also invited to be the adjunct professor in University of Macau and Hong Kong Baptist University, respectively. In recent three years, Prof. Wang has obtained multiple honors such as provincial outstanding young talents in natural science, provincial outstanding young talents in medicine and special plan young top-notch talent in Guangdong province.
