Stephen Jen is

2009 to 2011, Stephen was MD of Macroeconomics & Currencies

at Bluegold Capital. Previously, Stephen was with Morgan Stanley

for 12 years, latterly as Global Head of Currency Research

years as an economist with the IMF

Fatih Yilmaz

Head of Quantitative Research

Fatih Yilmaz is a

founding partner of SLJ Macro Partners LLP

one of the three investment managers of

ECU's Institutional Global Macro and Active FX Overlay Strategies,

specialising in quantitative modelling. After his MA and PhD

studies in Finance and Econometrics, Fatih was Assistant Professor

of Finance at Exeter. Previous roles include Currency Economist at

Morgan Stanley, Chief European Currency Strategist and Head of

Institutional Quant at Bank of America and Director of Quantitative

Research and Trading at Bluegold Capital.

Neil Staines

Head of Trading & Execution

Neil Staines is ECU's Head of Trading & Execution. was

formerly co-founder & Head of Investment at 3D Currency

Management. Previously, Neil worked at RBS Global Banking &

Markets, latterly as Head of FX Proprietary Trading.

Neil and his team are responsible for the

monitoring of

all ECU's trading programmes and strategies.

Economic & Central Bank Policy Adviser

Professor Charles Goodhart CBE is a member of ECU's Global

Macro , specialising in global Central

Bank Policy. Charles worked at the Bank of England for 17 years

as a monetary adviser, becoming a Chief Adviser in 1980. A

former member of the Bank of England Monetary Policy

Committee, Charles is Emeritus Professor of Banking & Finance

at the London School of Economics and a Senior Economic

Consultant for Morgan Stanley.

Cazenove Capital Management. Robin was a Partner of WI Carr

and Head of Technical Analysis at Grieveson Grant. Robin has

been a member of ECU's Global Macro Team for years.

Simon Hunt

Strategic Adviser – China & SE Asia

Simon

, specialising in China and some of the

major industrial commodity markets, notably copper. In 1975,

Simon Hunt founded Brook Hunt, a market leading provider of

market analysis across the metals and mining markets (now part

of Wood Mackenzie). In 1996, Simon left Brook Hunt to form

Simon Hunt Strategic Services which provides global economic

research services. Simon has spent 2-3 months a year for over 20

years visiting factories across China and has an office in Beijing.

Joana Freire

emerging markets, Joana

as part of the Financial

Markets Research team at the investment banking division of

Millennium bcp, in Lisbon, where she was responsible for the

macroeconomic outlook and publications for China and Brazil,

as well as for the medium term forecasts for currencies. Joana

holds an MSc Economics degree from the London School of

Economics and an undergraduate degree in Economics from

the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
