1. TITLE – HH ANGUS ELECTRICAL ADDENDUM #2
2. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Q: Section 28 08 15 item 1.3.3 requests a verification of the new DGP in its interim location. Code
requirements state that when verifying a new DGP we must conduct a ULC/CAN S536 on the existing field devices being tied into the new DGP. We will need the existing field device counts in order to price this properly. Perhaps a copy of the existing annual inspection report covering these areas will provide the device counts needed to price this portion of the work. A: Bidders are responsible for examining existing site conditions and ensuring their tender submissions encompass existing conditions.
2. Q: Please provide a location for PP-WHC-EAA. A: Refer to Drawing Section of this Addendum.
3. Q: Please provide a location and a panel schedule for LP-WHC-EF. It is shown on Dwg. E012. A: Refer to Drawing Section of this Addendum.
4. Q: In the Specs section 12 24 13, Roller Shades, you ask for motorized roller shades. The electrical drawing E201 doesn’t have electrical power for those. Could you please clarify? A: Refer to Drawing Section of this Addendum.
5. Q: Please confirm the UPS rating. Specifications detail an 80kVA UPS. Drawing indicates a 50kVA UPS. A: Refer to HHA Electrical Addendum #1, the drawing was updated to match the specifications.

3. SPECIFICATIONS
3.1. Reference Specification Section 28 31 19 Addressable Fire Alarm System (not re-issued): 3.1.1. Refer to clause 2.2.2 – Input (Alarm Initiating Circuits). Add: “or separate MICC cable”
following “via a separate conduit”. Revise second sentence to read: “Provide a conduit or MICC cable run from the Respective control panel to the first and last device on the loop.”
3.1.2. Refer to clause 2.22.5 – Wiring. Revise sentence to read: “Main trunk wiring shall be two hour rated MICC cables.”
3.1.3. Add clause 2.22.6 as follows: “Where initiating circuits pass through one or more zones before reaching the zone that they monitor, the wiring that passes through the other zones shall be two hour rated MICC cable.”
3.1.4. Add clause 2.22.7 as follows: “Where signal circuits pass through one or more zones before reaching the zone they serve, the wiring that passes through the other zones shall be two hour rated MICC cable.”
3.2. Reference Specification Section Appendix B - EXISTING FIRE ALARMS ZONE GRAPHIC BY ANNUNCIATOR (issued herewith):
