1. INTRODUCTION
Council has received funding from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund
Round 2 for design, supply and installation of game level lighting on the main soccer field at Lin
Cooper Recreation Area, Crookwell.
Under the scope of this quotation, Council is seeking quotes from appropriately licensed Contractors
to undertake the works identified in accordance with the scope of works. Council is seeking fully
functioning, Australian Standards, game level lighting for the soccer oval.
Scope of Works
A summary of the works is as follows, but not limited to;
Design (please supply as attachment), supply and installation of game level lighting (100lux) which will include: excavation for the trenches and footings, completing concrete, installation of the poles and LED lighting elements.
Install power supply to poles from main switchboard located at the soccer amenities building. A new three phase electricity meter will need to be installed and security will be required for the switching of this unit.
Price to include all plant, labour, materials, dial before you dig investigations.
Repairs to the soccer field playing surface and reinstating and replanting of the disturbed ground (eg: grass or gravel).
Installation of bollards to protect the poles in areas of traffic access.
Extra pricing outside of the lump sum needs to be projected for upgrading of the aerial power supply across the Goulburn Road to CePole 58442 to the point of attachment bracket on the amenities block to 95mm aluminium bundled cable if Essential Energy deems these cables to be unable to take the additional load (Fee/Price Schedule Part 2)
General Construction Notes
The soccer field is approximately 64m wide and 92m in length.
Design, materials and installation must meet relevant Australian Standards for lighting, structure, security and other applicable areas.
All relevant documentation (including design) to be supplied by the contractor unless noted otherwise.
All services are to be located safely by the contractor.
Depending on availability of structures, work will be scheduled to be undertaken after the soccer season has completed – September/October 2019
Work shall not interrupt traffic on Goulburn Road.
All work areas must be fenced off to prevent public access. Any areas where this is not possible will need to be made safe for public access/egress and warning/advisory signage erected.
All work shall comply with applicable legislations.
All electrical works are to be carried out by a suitably licenced person(s).

All work associated with this project is to be completed after the 8th September and before 1 November 2019.
An Avdata Access Control System is not required. The lights will be switched from a single, secure meter with at least two banks of switches.
Exemptions must be stated in the ‘Comments’ area.
Work Program
• The successful company is to supply a work program outlining the key items and delivery
time for each item, including handover date.
2. DOCUMENTATION
The documentation to be supplied to Upper Lachlan Shire Council under this project comprises, but not limited to the following components;
• Prior to engagement;
- Completed Price Schedule (attachment 1) - Insurance details as per section 3. - Business ABN - Company/Contractor Licence details
• Prior to associated works commencing;
- Dial-Before-You-Dig report
- Trades licence details
• At completion of works;
- Electrical certification
- Commissioning documents/Instructions/Warranties
NOTE: All business and trades accreditations/licences must be relevant and in date. A “stop work
order” may be implemented by Upper Lachlan Shire Council where documentation has not been
provided prior to the work commencing.
3. INSURANCES
Insurances required for this engagement are Public Liability ($20m), Professional Indemnity ($5m)
and Workers Compensation. Certificates of currency for these will be required from the successful
contractor.
4. QUOTATIONS – CLOSING DATE AND TIME
Quotations will be received up to 4.00pm on Friday 2 August 2019. Quotations will be accepted by
mail (PO Box 42, GUNNING NSW 2580) or email [email protected] . Email
attachment should not be more than 10 MB.

Please complete the following Pricing Schedule. This engagement will be for all-inclusive hourly
rates of staff, plant and equipment. Materials costs will be to supply all materials with a margin
for handling and administration. Completed Price Schedule to be returned to Council by 4pm
Friday 2nd August 2019.
