Bees are flying insect that are foundall over the world.there are over twelve thousand different species of bees, but only two thousand of these aee found in north America.

Bees can devided in two groups according to their living style.solitary bees live alone.on the other hand, social bees are interesting because in their “society “there are dfferent classes of bees.each class performs a different task.Queen bees lay eggs.worker, underdeveloved females, work in the hive but never reproduce males do not work, their only task is to mate with the queen.

Solitary bees occur as males and females.every female make a nest after an eggs is laid and put in a cell, the female also adds some pollen and honey for food.then she seals the cell.the femsle then go elsewhere to build a new nest or die.when the eggs hatch, the larvae will feed on the pollen and honey which the female left for them.

silkworms live for only two or three days after laying eggs.abot 36000 to 50000 eggs are laid and these are carefully stored at the silkworm farm until they are ready.yo hatch.the eggs hatch into caterpillars of a silkworm moth known as bombyx mori can do such spinningthis caterpillar has special glands which secrete liquid silk through its lower lip.the caterpillar makes its cocoons using these strand.the thread on the outside of the cocoon are rough, while those inside are soft and smooth.

Some fully spun cocoons are heated.the kills the pupa inside.the cocoons are then put into hot waterto loosenvthe find threads.finally, these threadsare reeled off the cocoons. The length of unbroken thread produced by a single cocoon measures about one and half kilometers.being twisted together several of these threads make single woven materials.
