QURBANI PROGRAM PAKISTAN 2012

It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you that ye may glorify Allah for His guidance to you: and proclaim the Good News to all

who do right.

To please Almighty Allah by their deed Denis Feneri (Turkey) and The NGO World Foundation (Pakistan) slaughtered 102 large animals (Cows) in Pakistan on this Eid ul Azha 2012 and the purpose of this act was;

To fulfill Sunnat e Ibrahimi;

To facilitate and help the poor families and include deserving families in happy moments of eid.

“Denis Feneri” allotted a plan to “The NGO World” which consists of slaughtering of 102 animals and

for this purpose we asked prices of animals from different sources and in the end purchased animals

by signing an agreement. One day before Eid, animals were transported to Muzaffargarh and

Khanewal distributed in different locations in custody of reliable local personalities. In both Districts

The NGO World managed this activity under supervision of representatives of Deniz Feneri Mr.

Ramazan and Mr. Asim. A team of volunteers under leadership of Brother Mohammad Arshad

identified five locations for slaughtering the animals. These 102 animals were slaughtered on these

locations and meat was distributed among poor families of surrounding areas.

One packet of meat with 3-4 kilogram meat was distributed to each beneficiary family. Approximately 6000 families received meat.

HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Turkish volunteers and TNW team offered eid prayer at the masjid newly built by Deniz

Feneri support at khokhar abad Muzaffargarh.

2. Imam masjid and local community was very thankful to the Turkish friends

3. Volunteers examined the work done on masjid and admired the efforts

4. On all location children warmly welcome the Turkish volunteers with Turkish flags in their

hands

5. Turkish volunteers appreciated the well planned and well managed events on all locations

6. Volunteers were satisfied with the quality of animals purchased

7. Community presented gifts to the guests

8. Community conveyed salam to the Turkish people

9. Turkish volunteers were guided to see the different historical places in Multan.

10. Government of Punjab provided proper security during the event.
