Report on Janmashtami celebrations

On 16th August 2017, Shree krishna janmotsav was celebrated by students of

Department of Applied Sciences (Chemistry/Physics/Maths). It brought devotion,

creativity, enjoyment and fun all together. The event was co-ordinated by faculty Mr.

Bhavin Patel and cultural team of Chemistry. Students along with faculty members do

worship of lord Krishna. The celebration began by offering homage full of devotion to

lord krishna through Shri Krishna Aarti by Prof. K. R. Desai, Dr. Mukesh Patel, Faculties

of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and the students of department of applied

sciences. On this occasion, “Rangoli competition”, “Nail art competition, “Matki

Decoration competition’ and “Dahi handi” program were organized. More than 50

students from B. Sc/Integrated M. Sc and M. Sc program were took part in the different

events.
