Progress Report

As frequently uttered by our honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, the

various villages of our country form the rudimentary foundation and reflect the

true development of our nation. A smart village essentially encompasses a

sustainable and inclusive development of all the sections of the village community

eventually contributing to a high standard of living.

In this benevolent respect, we have been tirelessly working for the development of

a village named Dantli which lies in the vicinity of our institute in Jagatpura. Our

team has incessantly strived to contribute in an array of fields associated with

education, health, clean water, sanitation and environmental sustainability by

conducting Medical camps, Awareness programs, Plantation drives and periodical

Door to door visits. A preview of all the events conducted at Dantli village is

mentioned as follows:

1. Medical Camp: Medical camp was organized in village Dantli on 11th

February, 2018 (Sunday). This camp was organized in the association of

Neerog Trust. Many specialists of different medical fields participated in this

camp mainly Dr. Arun Gupta (General Physician), Dr. Sanjay Agrawal (ENT),

Dentist Dr. Anjali Tiwari etc. Around 250 patients benefited by this camp. All

medical checkups were free during the camp and medicines were also

distributed free of charge. Mobile app was used for registration of the patients.

Around 40 student coordinators coordinated the camp. During the camp

Nukkad natak was also played for the general awareness. Sarpanch of the

Village Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma duly appreciated the efforts made by the

organizers.

Our project is a small step towards making India a developed nation by working on

developing the progress at the grass root level of smartening the rural development.

And humbly I assure you that most certainly we will continue to strive for it.

Words of Acknowledgement It is often believed that genuine guidance, support and blessings are the

unparalleled qualities that can never be paid back. The entire SKIT family yet

wishes to express a heart- felt word of gratitude to all those who were associated

with Gramothan work directly or indirectly for their valuable support. We also

hold a firm belief that this gesture of encouragement will certainly help our

students.
