AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
1 AUGUST TO 15 AUGUST, 2020
INTRODUCTION The economic crisis triggered by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 gave birth to
the ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT ABHIYAN. While the idea was first proposed by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, some of its features are similar to the Swadeshi movement
launched on August 7, 1905, to take on the British regime of the time.
Atmanirbhar means “SELF RELIANT” On May 12 Prime Minister Narendra
Modiji announced in his address to nation an economic package of Rs 20 trillion to
tide over the coronavirus crisis under the Atmanirbhar Bhatat Abhiyan.He said the
economic package would play important role in making India “Self reliant” and that it
would benefit labourers,farmers,Tax payers,MSMEs and the cottage industry.He said
making the country self-Reliant was the only way to make 21 st century belong to
India.According to the government ,it is not protectionist in nature.
5 pillar on which Atmanibhar Bharat is to be based:
India’s self-reliance will be based on five pillars
1. Economy
2. Infrastructure
3. Technology driven system
4. Vibrant demography
5. Demand
As per the guidelines received from DGNCC for conduct of AATMA NIRBHAR
BHARAT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN BY NCC CDTS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA (01
– 15 AUG 2020)
Cadets of 4/5(A) COY Government First Grade College & P G Centre Dharwad, under
the guidance of Commanding Officer Colonel T J S Thind, 5 Kar Girls Bn, NCC
Dharwad, Principal Prof S B Patil, ANO Lieutenant Vidya Raikar took step forward to
Bring awareness among the public about AATMA NIRBHAR BHARAT , “SELF
RELIANT INDIA” by different means of Social Media Like Whatsapp, Facebook,
Telegram group etc…Cadets participated in different activities like taking Pledge,
making videos , posters .and also self made different craft work videos and E-posters
were posted every day on social media. Here below we are sharing some of the
activities carried out by cadets from 1 AUG to 15 AUG,2020
DAY-1 On FIRST DAY cadets took a pledge on
ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT
SELF-RELIANT INDIA
through the link and also link posted on different Wharsapp group to make aware the public about this .cadets were issued with E-certificate those

DAY -2
On SECOND DAY cadets made a video to aware about ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT
SELF -RELIANT INDIA cadet Priyanka Deshnur spoken about concept of
ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT and JUO Divya Gandhi made E-Posters and shared on
Social media.

On THIRD DAY JUO. DIVYA GANDHI made a video on Concept of Atmanirbhar

On FOURTH DAY cadet Priyanka Deshnur made a video on five pillars of Self

On FIFTH DAY of campaign JUO Divya Gandhi has made video on business
startup with small investment which can help people to start their small scale

On SIXTH DAY cadets made a poster on Infrastructure of India which Second
Pillar of Self- Reliant India and shared through Whatsapp media.India has the
second largest Road network in the world.

On SEVENTH DAY SUO Pruthvi Murugodmath made a video on Modern
Agricultural Equipment use of which will help to be self Reliant in Agriculture
sector in India .

On EIGHTH DAY cadets made E-posters on Modern Agricuture equipments that can be used in Agriculture Sector to be self reliant in Agriculture Sector. Posters posted on social media.
DAY-9
On NINTH DAY cadets made a poster on present Economy Of India
and posters posted through Whatsapp media.
DAY-10
On TENTH DAY cadet Netravati patil made a video on making earings at home
using Silk Threads, needle, etc items and can sold to earn and help family to be
Self Reliant.

On ELEVENTH DAY cadet Gouramma Pammannavar made a video on making
Cushion Covers at home using Cotton Cloth .making some designs on cloth using
Silk and cotton thread ,needle and shared among whatsapp and telegram group
