The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the prank involved firefighters urinating on a picture of retired Chief Daryl McGinnis. The prank took place at a bar during an August graduation party for new firefighters, Division of Fire Spokesman Larry Gray told the Plain Dealer. Among the firefighters receiving letters to be part of a disciplinary hearing includes four captains and two lieutenants. Depending on each firefighter’s level of involvement, either Interim Chief Patrick Kelly or Safety Director Martin Flask will preside over their hearing. “We’re definitely not pleased with the alleged actions of these individuals,” Gray told the Plain Dealer. “By no means does this reflect the integrity of the department.” McGinnis retired in August after he was removed from his supervisory duty for failing to meet training requirements. CLEVELAND, Ohio (CBS Cleveland) – A dozen firefighters were reportedly involved in a prankthat could lead them to being suspended, demoted, or terminated.
