Report about the 3rd ISE Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry in Ukraine “Promising Materials and Processes in Applied Electrochemistry” 3rd ISE Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry in Ukraine – “Promising Materials and Processes in Applied Electrochemistry” was held on 18 th May at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) as part of celebration of «The Day of Science» and «The Day of Europe» in Ukraine. The event was attended by almost 70 scientists from 3 neighboring countries (Ukraine, Poland and Belarus). The Symposium was opened by prof. Viktor Kaplun, KNUTD first vice-rector; prof. Olga Baula, dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies; prof. Viacheslav Barsukov, head of the Electrochemical Power Engineering and Chemistry department. After that young scientists have presented their oral and poster presentations and answered the questions. During the poster sessions students and young participants presented their findings and had fruitful discussions with each other, as well as with world-class scientists.

about the 3rd ISE Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry in Ukraine – “Promising Materials and Processes in Applied Electrochemistry”

3rd ISE Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry in Ukraine –

“Promising Materials and Processes in Applied Electrochemistry” was held on 18th May at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) as part of celebration of «The Day of Science» and «The Day of Europe» in Ukraine.

The event was attended by almost 70 scientists from 3 neighboring countries (Ukraine, Poland and Belarus).

The Symposium was opened by prof. Viktor Kaplun, KNUTD first vice-rector; prof. Olga Baula, dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies; prof. Viacheslav Barsukov, head of the Electrochemical Power Engineering and Chemistry department.

After that young scientists have presented their oral and poster presentations and answered the questions.

During the poster sessions students and young participants presented their findings and had fruitful discussions with each other, as well as with world-class scientists.

The best presentations of young scientists were awarded by special Diplomas of Symposium Organizing Committee.

Hospitality services provided delicious lunch and coffee-breaks.

As the scientific outcome of the Symposium it is planned to publish the collective monograph “Promising Materials and Processes in Applied Electrochemistry – 2018”. The best papers will be published in the Journal “Materials Today: Proceedings’, which is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science data bases.

All students, young scientists and their supervisors are very grateful ISE for the sponsor’s support of this very important event in Ukraine and hope to continue this remarkable tradition on the next years.
