tenting guide Lasting Impressions offers a variety of tent sizes and styles to accommodate every type of event. Our sales staff will gladly help you choose the style and size of tent to suit your needs. Below are some guidelines to consider.

1) Size - Maximum seating can be accomplished by using 72” round tables or making long rows of banquet tables. Here are a few space requirements to be used when determining the size of a tent.

Cocktail Party (standing 5-6 sq. feet per person Cocktail Party (some seated) 8 sq. feet per person Dinner Seating 10-14 sq. feet per person Theater-style Seating 6 sq. feet per person Classroom Seating 6-8 sq. feet per person Dance Floor Size 2-4 sq. feet per person Stage for a band at least 10 sq. feet per person Bar 50-100 sq. feet Buffet at least 100 sq. feet

2) CAD Design - Our sales staff can make a CAD drawing of your event showing seating, buffets, dance floor, etc.

3) Style - The style of tent used will be based on three factors -- appearance, space restrictions, and installation restrictions.

Pole Tents offer an open high-peaked dramatic look. However, the interior layout must consider the center poles. Also, Pole Tents must be setup on level ground and must have five additional feet on each side for staking.

Frame Tents can fit into tight spaces because stakes can be placed near the frame. Water barrel weights can sometimes be used where staking is not available. One Frame Tent can be easily attached to another to add room for buffets, bars, and entrance ways.

Future Track Tents combine the best features of both the Pole Tents and Frame Tents. Future Track Tents offer high ceilings, have no center poles, and can fit into tight spaces. Also, Future Track Tents can be gable-ended to allow maximum height throughout the entire tent; this can be helpful when a stage needs to be put at an end of a tent. The ability to withstand a higher wind load makes this tent ideal for longer installations.

4) Site Inspections – If necessary, a representative from our tent crew will visit your site to make sure the tent you have chosen can be installed. We look for obstacles which could prevent the proper installation of a tent. A site inspection fee will be collected prior to our visit, and is generally applied towards the tent rental, once a reservation is made.

5) OUPS - Lasting Impressions will contact the Ohio Utilities Protection Service to mark all underground utility lines. The utility companies will mark their lines; however, it is the land owner’s responsibility to mark all private lines, including sprinkler systems. There is no requirement to be present when the lines are marked. We prefer if the area to be tented is clearly marked with white flags or paint. tents Our pricing for tents, except for Pop Up and Over the Counter Tents includes the cost of setup and teardown during regular delivery times. Additional delivery charges will apply to all orders based on location, and further charges may be included for setup and/or teardown outside of normal delivery times, site specific/custom installation, and/or exceptional locations. Please call our sales office for pricing and assistance determining the right tent for your event.

Frame Tents Frame Tents differ from Stake and Pole Tents because they rely on an aluminum frame for support rather than using tension. This eliminates the need for center poles. Frame Tents are also more adaptable, especially in site-specific installations where staking is not permitted. In these cases, Frame Tents can be used with water barrel weights*. (*Water barrel weights do not provide the same holding power as stakes. All tent manufacturers state that they are unsafe for securing tents. For this reason, Lasting Impressions Event Rentals strongly discourages the use of water barrels for any installation except when necessary.) We offer Frame Tents in many sizes, including widths available in 6’, 8’, 10’, 12’, 15’, 20’ and 30’ and lengths to fit virtually all events.

High Peak Frame Tents These tents feature the latest technology of tensioned membrane design. The tightly tensioned top is supported by an underlying mast on an aluminum frame. This contemporary look is available in 10’x10’, 10’x20’, 15’x15’, 20’x20’, 20’x30’ and 40’ diameter Hexagonal tents.

Track Tents Our Track Tents are a hybrid of a Clearspan and a Frame Tent. The tops of these tents slide through an aluminum frame providing a tight, structured appearance. They are also gable-ended for a more open ceiling and roof line. This tent is ideal for large high-end events and long-term installations. We offer Track Tents in 20’, 30’, 40’, and 50’ widths. The lengths are created by 10’ or 15’ bays that combine to create the perfect size for any size event.

Clearspan Tents The strong construction of the Clearspan tent makes it suitable for large or long-term events. The framework of the Clearspan provides maximum unobstructed interior and perimeter space. Similar to the framework of a track tent, box beam arches support the roof without the use of centerpoles. Sidewalls, glass doors and windows can be used to create the feel of a permanent structure. Widths available: 15 meter, 18 meter, 20 meter, 25 meter and 30 meter.

Traditional Pole Tents Traditional Stake and Pole Tents rely on interior poles that support the pitch. For this reason, Traditional Stake and Pole Tents must be staked into level ground and are always erected with one or more interior center and/or quarter poles. Our Traditional Stake and Pole Tents are striped and ideal for festivals. Widths available: 30', 40', 60' and 80' with variable lengths

High Peak Pole Tents The high peaks of these tents create open and striking ceilings for a more dramatic look. They also use minimal interior poles which allows for a more open floor plan. Widths available: Single Pole - 30', 40' and 60'; Twin Pole - 60', 80' and 100'

Stillwater Pole Tents The beautiful style of our Stillwater Tents is created with a round/oval tension top supported by finished wood center and side poles. The sailcloth style of the top of this tent allows natural light to pour through during the day, or the reverse at night. Widths available: 32’, 44, and 57’.

Over-the-Counter Pole Tents Our OTC Tents are traditional pole tents They come in a bag and include the top, poles and stakes. Installation is not included.
