STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.
The Business syllabus is very important taking into account that it integrates the four
skills in our English class that are reading, listening, writing and speaking. Those are a
form of producing language and with these skills is easier to prepare activities whether
written or oral in the business world.
The main reason that I have to take this course is improving my four skills and
vocabulary related with business. My expectations for this syllabus are; recognizing
some technical vocabulary for communication within the business context, applying
rules of socialization with people of different cultures in order to interact in the business
contexts, analyzing rules of communication through technological resources for
business issues and preparing simulated telephone support in different commercial
aspects.
Also, I think that this course will contribute with a lot of strategies to improve my
writing, speaking, reading and listening in the business world. So, I will contribute to
achieve my expectations with effort and dedication in order to succeed in my
professional life. I will do the following: check vocabulary and strategies every day,
perform all tasks, learn a lot of techniques to make good presentations and be aware of
my mistakes in order to improve my business skills.
In conclusion, I will be helped a lot by the Business syllabus because it will integrate
the four skills and improve the language acquisition in the world of business. And, it
will help me to become an excellent professional.

FINAL REFLECTION
Business is an important syllabus in the process of learning English to the business
world. This syllabus contributed to the improvement of my English skills because it
developed five elements during the semester according to the competences that the
syllabus presented at the beginning of this course.
This syllabus Business helped me a lot to improve my four skills that are speaking,
listening, writing, and reading in the field of business. Each learning outcome that I
made during this syllabus was useful for the process of learning about business. The
first learning outcome helped me to keep conversations going about vocabulary of
business.
The second learning outcome was useful to write about ways to invite visitors to
have a social time. The third learning outcome was helpful to participate in role plays
about receiving phone calls and a Business letter. The fourth learning outcome enhanced
my skills in order to design and present a short role play about using the telephone.
Finally, the fifth learning outcome supported me to create a project according to an
enterprise trying to sell a product.
In conclusion, the Business syllabus was useful during this semester because each
task and learning outcomes were applied according to the competences that I needed. As
well as to enhance my four skills in order to improve communication techniques and
developing the target language in this context.
