Renewing a User ID

BEFORE starting - Turn off popup blockers!! Go to: https://eta.sddc.army.mil/ETASSOPortal/SSO/PortalLogin.aspx Click “Forgot User ID?”

Enter the email address used to register for your DPS account. If the email address has changed, you will need to contact ETA to update the email address before proceeding

Click “Submit”

You will receive an email from the ETA Help Desk that contains your User ID

Return to the main ETA Login page

Enter the User ID you were provided in the previous email from ETA Enter the code in the image Click “Next”

Provide a response to two of the security questions click “Next”

NOTE: These questions were established when the member registered for their account. If you do

not remember the answer to one of the questions, you can click “Change Questions” and two more randomly selected questions will generate; if you do not remember the responses given

during the registration process, please contact ETA at 1-800-462-2176

You will receive an email from ETA that provides you with a validation code; enter the validation code and click “Next”

Create your new password Click “Set Password” IMPORTANT: make sure to write

down and save your new password!

Click “Return to Login”

Enter User ID & new password; click “Log In”
