Read this story

Billy is five years old. He likes to go fishing with his Dad at the lake.

Sometimes, Billy and his Dad catch lots of fish. Other times, they do not catch anything at all.

When Billy gets home from fishing with his Dad, he tells his Mum all about the trip. Billy is happy that he gets to spend so much time with his Dad.

This story includes most of the words we have

learned this term. Such as – likes, fish/ing, Dad, Mum, Other, Catch, trip,

home, Happy, spend, year, lake and lots. It

includes an introduction to some of the words we

will be covering next term.
