The Workhouse Arts Center at Lorton — Once a reformatory, the Workhouse Arts Center is a truly unique setting that is home to more than 90 of the region’s finest professional and emerging artists offering essential visual and performing arts studios and exhibition spaces as well as engaging programs for people of all ages and artistic abilities.
Wolf Trap — As the nation’s only national park dedicated to the performing arts, Wolf Trap offers three unique venues. Wolf Trap’s majestic Filene Center features a magical outdoor venue for world-class performances of every genre. The Barns feature amazing acoustics in the cooler months. And the beloved Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods has entertained families for generations.
