MANPOWER, EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

OUR REMOTE SITE SECURITY METHODOLOGY

Our approach to remote site security is to introduce a layered solution, enabling us to establish an early warning system and information network from as far out as possible. This allows all key stakeholders to manage their operations according to the level of threat they are exposed to. The solution is flexible and ensures an appropriate response is deployed in a timely fashion in order to mitigate any risks.

This is not achievable without an excellent working relationship with the local communities and all key government security agencies. Everyone’s actions on the site must be centrally coordinated by the service provider.

Having established a robust intelligence and information network, GardaWorld then compliments the solution with the deployment of an independent (on site) command and control team — a highly trained, well-equipped and mobile multiagency security force, which is fully supported with communication tools, technology and, where appropriate, infrastructure security.

We strive to achieve operational excellence through the use of local content, which, by its nature, acts as a useful risk mitigator. Also, and, when coupled with being actively involved with the local community, local content serves to enhance the overall integrity of the solution.

While every site is uniquely different, GardaWorld has proved that this approach and methodology is successful regardless of whether we are securing an onshore or offshore facility, a fixed site with a perimeter, a large plantation or site with porous borders or linear infrastructure such as a pipeline or road.
