PREP 2020: On Tuesday we had a fantastic turn up of new families who came along for our Prep 2020 Tour. This is year we did a group tour during the day and it was most successful. If you or anyone you know wishes to enrol at ANPS for the 2020 school year, please do so as soon as possible to avoid missing out. NAPLAN: We are nearing our NAPLAN testing. You will hear a lot about this on the television or on the radio. I dont know why this is hyped up every year as it is a snap shot of your childs learning which we use along with many other forms of assessment to get a clear picture of your childs learning. If you have any queries please see your childs teacher or Mrs. Blunt for further information. BOOK FAIR: Thank you to all the students and parents who visited our Book Fair this week. Its been fabulous and the variety of books was awesome Also a big thank you to Wendy for her organisation and to all the staff and parents who helped her along the way by counting money, running the stall, helping students, counting books and the many other jobs involved. READING IN MAY: Remember that it s Reading in MAY”. The challenge is on - who can read the most during the month of MAY? Reading is an essential part of learning so the more you read the more you learn. Dont forget that the whole family can get involved in Reading in May and put their tally on your calendar. So GET READING!! Which grade will be the WINNERS this year? SCHOOL PHOTOS: Next Thursday 9th May, we will be having our school photos. Please make sure all children are in full uniform and it is clean, neat and tidy. Only white or green ribbons, scarves or hair accessories please. Order envelopes were sent home with every student. Please ensure you fill in the front of this envelope with your order details and place your money inside the envelope and seal it.
