2018 REMBA/NorCal High School Cycling League

Scholarship Program

REMBA, the Redwood Empire Mountain Bike Alliance, is proud to announce its support

of the NorCal High School Cycling League. Since Day 1, REMBA has supported the

League's efforts in a multitude of ways, from trail advocacy, to volunteering, to coaching

local high school teams. In 2018 REMBA is launching for the second year a REMBA/NorCal

Scholarship Program to benefit two deserving local student-athletes, who live within the

counties that REMBA serves (Lake, Sonoma and Napa). We are thrilled to have community

partners like this, who genuinely support our mission of building strong body, mind and

character through the sport of cycling!

This scholarship will consist of a season of race fees, a new mountain bike, helmet, and

Camelbak for 2 student athletes. Students who are eligible for this scholarship

must meet the following criteria:

-Live within the REMBA geographic boundary of Napa, Lake, or Sonoma County.

-Are currently in 9th, 10th or 11th grade

-Have committed to riding and racing for their local NorCal League team.

-Have significant financial need

-Willing to write 1 blog post per race.

-Able to attend 2 REMBA trail work days in 2018

-Able to attend 2 REMBA board meetings in 2018

All submissions must be received by January 31st, 2018. REMBA will choose winners

by February, 15th, 2018.
