#DEGREEPROJECTKaylie Beckley

2015

My name is Kaylie Beckley and this ladies and gentlemen is my degree project

Ive always been a curious person. Asking questions that may not have an answer, but they seem interesting to think about. [click] As a personal project I kept a journal that contained my curious questions. Examples include: did Adam and eve have belly buttons? Why are there more planets than just earth? After voicing my secret why book to other people I found out that they to had curious questions, which lead me to what I wanted to investigate for my degree project

THE QUESTION

How can I create a social community to help answer everyday theoretical questions?

“”

otherwise know as shower thoughts, and or driving thoughts.

My audience is millennials whose age range is those born between 1983 to 2000. Or in other words, our generation.

HUMOR

AMAZING GRAPHICS

WELL WRITTEN CONTENT

ENGAGED COMMUNITIES

During my research stage it was important for me to understand what Millennials look for in social sites they use on a daily basis. I found out that they enjoy sites that have humor click , amazing graphics click, well written content click, and engaged communities click

To create a social system housed on the web and in a mobile app

To display content in a exploratory manner

GOALS

with the research that I have done I wanted to create a social system housed on the web and in a mobile app click , also to explore a new way that social media can be used by exploring different ways the information can be shown click, while keeping the gestures users already known. [click]

PERSONAL THOUGHTFUL CURIOUS EXPLORATORY

The system I created can be described with the keywords, Personal click, Thoughtful click , Curious click, and Exploratory click. All are focused on the user, and the type of questions being asked within the social system. DONT CLICK AGAIN

Since Millennials are attracted to amazing graphics I decided to use dynamic landscape imagery to engage users and increase their curiosity of the world.

The amount of process I have went through to get remark to the point it currently stands, is something that cannot be overlooked. Remark was revamped, not once click , not twice click, but three times click. I would like to give a thank you to kelly and classmates for pushing me to my full potential.

When thinking about how remark will live at the senior show, I created a poster so that remark can live outside a screen and a video with a preview of how remark works

So without further ado…remark

Now its Time to celebrate! Thank You!
