1Corinthians 2:7-97 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,

1Corinthians 2:7-98 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1Corinthians 2:7-99 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

What Does Heaven Look Like?

• No more sea (Rev. 21:1)• Light like jasper, clear as

crystal (v.11)• High wall, 12 gates, 12

angels at the gates with the names of the 12 tribes written on them (v.12)

• 3 gates each on the east, north, south and west (v.13)

What Does Heaven Look Like?

• 12 foundations with the names of the 12 apostles on them (v.14)

• Size is 1,500 miles cubed (v.16)

• Wall is 18 feet tall and made of jasper (vs.17,18)

• Pure gold, like glass (v.18)

What Does Heaven Look Like?• Foundations of the wall made

of precious stones (vs. 19,20)

• The 12 gates are 12 pearls. Each individual gate is a pearl (v.21)

• The street is pure gold like transparent glass. (v.21)

• No sun or moon (v.23)

What Does Heaven Look Like?• The glory of God and the

Lamb is it’s light (v.23)• Gates are not shut by day

(v.25)• There is no night there (v.25)

What Does Heaven Look Like?• Nothing there that defiles or

causes an abomination or a lie (v.27)

• Only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are there (v.27)

Romans 8:1818 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

2Corinthians 5:6-86 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
