3.3 Store statistical information of RTP This new feature allows you to check the quality of a VoIP call. Therefore if a customer reports a bad quality call at some time previously this can be checked. The SV9100 stores the statistical data of the quality (RTCP (RTP Control Protocol)) on the SD card mounted to the CCPU.

The information is saved in csv format for easy viewing and editing. The file stores information on the

quality of the calls, such as lost packets, Jitter, etc.

The information can be retrieved via PCPro or can be saved to USB stick via TelPro

    3.3.1 Benefits

Allows you to confirm the information stated by customer and more easily diagnose issues.

    3.3.4 Technical Information

Allows STP statistical data (RTCP (RTP Control Protocol)), to be saved to the SD card or USB.

RTP data is saved automatically every 1000 calls, however this can be performed immediately via

service code. The information is saved in csv format for easy post processing. This information details

the quality of the calls, items such as lost packets, Jitter, etc.

The information can be retrieved via PCPro or can be saved to USB stick via TelPro.

The feature is turned on/off by Class.

About 4.6 M per file memory is used. About 46 M memory is used by ten files (Max).

In a call that using the IPLE, the statistical information on the system side is available.

Only when the terminal is supporting RTCP, the statistical information on the remote side can be

gained. Supports DT700, 800, SP310 and any standard SIP devices supporting RTCP.

3.4 System ACD login restriction by login ID Code list Currently on the SV9100 you can input the ACD login ID for ACD.

The user sometimes inputs a wrong ID, but SV9100 accepts this ID because current SV9100 only

checked the number of digits rather than the actual digits.

From SV9100 R3 it is possible to verify the code, so that only the valid code for that user will allow

logon. An incorrect entry will give an invalid prompt requiring re-entry.

    3.4.1 Benefits

Give better accuracy of who is logged in and who can log in.

3.5 Add the date information in calling history Details the Date/Time for outgoing calls in the calling history Prior to R3 the DT display had one screen detailing Name and Number, but no Date and Time.

R3 allows the display of Name, with Date and time. On a 28 Char display all the items can be displayed. On A 24/20 display pressing Help/TRF allows you to change from Name with Date and Time to Number with Date and Time.

    3.5.1 Benefits

Allows you to scroll through call history/redial and have the date and see time and date information.

    3.5.4 Technical Information

There are no items required to turn this on, this is the new operation from R3. There is a new

configuration item to allow pack or unpack of history.

If this data is unpack, all dialed data is saved and displayed as individual items, so shows many calls to

a single destination each showing the time/date of that individual call.

If Packed, it takes the many instances to one number and just shows the last, this can allow for easier

scrolling through numbers. Pack is the default setting.

3.6 Making MTU into System Data Traditionally an Ethernet frame is 1518 Bytes and many switches and routers comfortably handle this.

However more commonly now, extra fields are added such as preamble and VLAN, also the size of the

data with the frame is increased leading to frames over 1518 Bytes (termed Jumbo frames).

Some switches and routers cannot handle these jumbo frames and so can lead to 2 possible scenarios:

can lead to fragmentation (where the packets are disassembled and reassembled into smaller packets),

leading to delay and greater overhead (as there are now two packets with address information, etc. and a

smaller amount of data in each, meaning the ratio of data to overhead is worse).

Worse than this some network devices may even drop the frames.

SV9100 R3 Software gives the ability to change the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) or frame size

for transmission out of the CCPU/IPLE Ethernet connection.

    3.6.1 Benefits

This leads to greater compatibility with customers networks, particularly routed networks, where the

MTU sizes can be restrictive (dependent on equipment used or configuration).

4.2 Support TCP Connection of STD SIP When a SIP terminal uses the UDP protocol over Firewalls, a keep-alive (or polling) is required on a regular basis. In R3 the SV9100 can use the TCP protocol. The operating system then sends a keep-alive, and the application can go to sleep mode. If we use application on smart phone, we then get a longer battery life. The TCP/UDP is decided on initial negotiation based on the devices support.

The item is determined during negotiation.

The SV9100 use TCP protocol for SIP message. If the Request -header and Contact header in REGISTER message have transport=tcp, SV9100 uses TCP protocol. And PRG15-05-01 is set to 1.TCP. When the REGISTER message has transport=udp, or the REGISTER message does not have transport information, SV9100 uses UDP protocol. The SV9100 can use a SIP terminal that does not send REGISTER message. In that case, user selects Transport protocol by PRG15-05-51. Transport protocol are decided by the REGISTER message. When SV9100 sends a response message for SIP message from SIP terminal, SV9100 references contact-header and if SIP message has transport=tcp, the SV9100 send response message by TCP protocol. The Polycom VVX1500 is an example of a terminal using this feature.

    items around could correct this.

    5.1.1 Benefits

Shows the amount of power taken by the cards in each chassis.

The chassis view, gives a more detailed look at the system.

As the SV9100 can scale up to 896 extension, 400 trunks, it is difficult to see this all in one view, there

the view is broken into 3 cards at a time.

    (where the CPU would be).

Simply click on the area you wish.

You can click on a port on a card (for example VoIP) the properties for that port appear to the side

allowing view of the configured items and the ability to change.

view. However if using system data programming (Commands), the sliding panes boxes should be

closed to improve the speed of PCpro. Sliding area aspect and area to turn on/off can be seen
