NETWORK PROJECT LOCAL HOTEL ECO PARADISE

SURVEY OF INFRASTRUCTURE LOCAL NETWORK

Caucaia, April 30, 2013

1. goal

This Technical Report is intended to attest to the technical conditions of the Network Infrastructure and Wireless Local Company Eco Paradise Hotel located on the street Sweden, 28 - Cumbuco - Ceara, assessing their compliance with the Technical Standards applicable.

2. methodology

The procedure used in the preparation of this Technical Report was to record images through all components of the Network.Upon audit, were recorded every detail observed by Specialized Technical Network, identifying and qualifying all components pointing needs correcting nonconformities cleared.In the office, the Network Engineer and Telecommunications, in possession of all the data, prepared the Technical Report identifying each component through image and commenting nonconformities according to the applicable Technical Standards.

3. REFERENCED STANDARDS

1. EIA/TIA 568-B.1 – Specification of a generic system of telecommunications cabling for buildings;

2. EIA/TIA 568-B.2– Specification of cabling components, transmission, system models and measurement procedures required for the verification of twisted pair cabling;

3. EIA/TIA 569-A – Telecommunications pathways and spaces for the internal network. (structured cabling structured Infrastructure);

4. EIA/TIA 606-A – Administration of telecommunications infrastructure;5. ISO/IEC 11801 – Standards for Structured Cabling System6. NBR 14565 – Basic procedures for the preparation of projects for

telecommunications cabling structured internal network;7. NBR 5413 e NR 17 - Ergonomics and illuminance8. IEEE 802 - Establishes international standards related to local

networks.

4. INSPECTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS OF LOGIC NETWORK.

4.1. Cabling logical close to electrical cable

Electric cables passing near the cable without logical and physical protection without the minimum distance required in the standard. Pipe network logic similar to the pipe mains without clearance required in the standard makes the network out of the box and susceptible to failure.The cord should be secured to prevent electromagnetic induction in the logical network. With electromagnetic induction in the logical wiring may result in information loss, net catching and possible damage to the network card.* As a general rule, to the internal network computer is down about 30 cm clearance between the logical and electrical cabling, it is clear that other factors should be checked as the kind of pipe or channel, or type of cable insulation or electric the cable type logical.Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is a major cause of failures in the network, especially for not having been observed criteria of pipes used to transport inadequate infrastructure cabling. The electromagnetic interference can originate internally and / or externally to the communication system, but their cause always originates in electromagnetic disturbances. It should stress the difference between the terms "electromagnetic disturbance" and "electromagnetic interference", commonly used in the technical literature. The first and second means to cause the effect which is observed in communication systems.

4.2. Cabling in the same logical channel or tubing electrical cable.

Cable through the same logical channel or inside the pipe grid. In addition to causing interference produced by electromagnetic induction, physical contact may occur because of a break, bare wire or loose seam, causing conduction of electric current through the cable to the logical device, causing a short circuit, damaging the (s) device (s) with the possibility of shock hazard to the user. This induction may result in locking entire network.* The standard requires that the cabling infrastructure network must have your unique referral, with pipes only for voice traffic and data. It is necessary to separate the channel / pipe cabling logical channel / pipe of electrical cables, considering the distance prescribed by the appropriate standard for the type of channel or pipe specified. 4.3. Logical cables near equipment that induces electromagnetic field

Cable logical passing near air conditioning or exhaust fan and fluorescent light. There are devices that produce electromagnetic field, because the electromagnetic field may cause interference in the network equipment computer.The logical cabling cannot spend close to air conditioning, exhaust fans and electric motors, as these devices cause electromagnetic induction and for each type of equipment and its power obey a distance. In some situations utilizes the mechanism that secures the cables of this induction designing these cases logical shielded cables (STP) and / or a pipe and / or metallic channels to eliminate these interferences.

4.4. RJ 45 exposed

RJ 45 connector above the ground.The network environment must be organized so that their connections are not exposed and vulnerable to physical exertion, causing breakage or rupture.Network components such as cables and connectors must always be protected.Besides doing an installation within the IEEE 802 standards with the use of accessories available, it is necessary to guide users when and how to use the care that must be given to the connections.The RJ 45 on the ground can suffer mechanical stress being damaged and you may come in contact with electrical outlet (filter), conducting electrical current through the logical network, causing burning equipment and cause electric shock to any user. 4.5. Organization in the network points

It was not done by the responsible technician who performed the installation, technical study of the network structure or project design for the identification of points and active.Installation is incomplete and missing dots without clipping cables without identifying points and connection failures.Besides doing an installation within the IEEE 802 standards with the use of accessories available, it is necessary to guide users when and how to use the care that must be given to the connections. 4.6.

Stabilizer in inadequateStabilizer in or on the rack.The stabilizer is a device that causes electromagnetic induction and dissipates heat.Because the rack is an enclosure facilitates the induction by stabilizing the active network equipment and cabling. So that it can be within the rack should be installed in placeholder, protected by metal tray and without contact with cables or logical network assets.* The network stabilized, or in single break for the entire network is one of the best options being considered the power and reliability of the system.

5. Irregularities CONSIDERED SERIOUS

Network cables with induction level above that allowed with the risk of burning equipment, electric shock to the user, locking the network, speed loss and other problems.

Cables with clipping incorrect, missing or non-standard points.

Crossover cables with clipping, preventing the user's connection to the network.

6. general aspects

All network cables must be identified in accordance with its purpose, in case of identification by color, Link (INTERNET) should be identified with the color-Light Gray, cables connecting users (Local Area Network) should be identified with the color Blue, Wireless network cables should be identified with the color Blue-course.

Distribution cables from the local network must be reinstalled so that the insulation of the cable does not come into direct contact with power cables, as failure isolation (caused by cracks or dryness) may result in electric shock or burns equipment.

The documentation and local identification of components of the network must be updated. All network components must be identified so that the correspondence between the component and its network point can be readily recognized. This identification shall be legible, indelible, positioned so as to avoid any risk of confusion and correspond to the notation adopted in the design (schematics and other documents).

Plants, diagrams, descriptive text, and other documents that make up the project, should be executed or updated in order to become part of the premises documents Infrastructure Network (chart provided in NR 10).

It is recommended as a way of monitoring the Internet Link, which is conducted quarterly, an inspection technique these components in order to verify the conditions of operation.

Shall be prepared a schedule of adjustments to the premises network infrastructure comply with the standards.

7. CONCLUSION

This Technical Report included the analysis of Network Infrastructure Logic indicating non-conformities and suggesting regulatory actions.As primary recommendation, we suggest the immediate shutdown of all network cables to avoid possible damage to equipment, and reinstallation of the entire structure of cables, with the completion of design and documentation of the structure of the points, so that it remains the integrity of the facility and the adequacy of the same technical standards.As a complement to this work, it is recommended the immediate implementation of the entire installation.
