Approval of the Consent Agenda Report of the Clerk and Committee Reports

It was moved, seconded and the Vestry unanimously approved the consent agenda including the minutes and committee reports as received.

Approval of the AuditPitzer gave a little background to the audit and reported that it is a clean report. The auditor was able to take a deep dive into the records and everything is good. This is the first audit after Cathy Maginn retired and the team did well. Kinman thanked all who were involved in this process including Roxie Bates, Debbie Daniels, Zach De Johnette, and Christina Honchell for their work. It was moved, seconded and the vestry accepted the audit.

Buildings & Grounds MotionLonnie Schield, chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, recommended that the vestry first address the elevator modernization and upgraded fire alarm/security system, water-proofing the north steps of Regas House, issues with leaks into the Forum, and floor replacement in Sweetland Hall and other areas in Regas House, all of which will cost a total of $366,500. This proposal was approved by the finance committee and will come out of the quasi-endowment funds. It was moved, seconded and, following discussion, it was unanimously approved to use the quasi endowment up to $366,500 as approved by the finance committee to repair the proposed items.

Each area has Outcomes, First Steps and Proposed Deadlines. He asked the vestry for discussion and input. We need to consider what we need to pause on, and does this represent what vestry members are hearing. Included in this should be where are we going, what are we doing and how do we celebrate achieving our goals.
