Sacramento County Airport System
The County Airport System operates four Airports:• Sacramento International Airport (SMF) – Primarily Commercial
(passenger) with some Cargo and Military ops.
• Sacramento Mather Airport (MHR) – Primarily Cargo Operations with some General Aviation (GA) and Military ops.
• Sacramento Executive Airport (SAC) – Primarily GA Operations
• Franklin Field (F72) – Primarily Pilot Training
Role of each airport is defined in the Board of Supervisors approved Airport System Plan
