Choicest Christian Greetings,
The wise King Solomon said once in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:1”Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come
not nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say I have no pleasure in them”
As an admonition to the youth of his time and even to those of this present generation, Solomon gives the exhortation, a call to young people to
think of God and mind their duty to him while they are young. He reminds them of the folly of the things of the world and all its vanities and bids,
them hasten “to do it now” I am especially thrilled, proud and excited at the launching of REGENERATION MAGAZINE a product of our
very talented and anointed youth and team leaders here at Regenerating Lives Ministries Inc. As a R-ighteously E-xalted Generation these
our young people are determined to live according to the standards that Almighty God himself have called them to be. Recognizing that they are a
part of a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD AND A HOLY NATION, they are choosing to walk in excellence before the God of their Salvation.
Everything in this world is geared to changing us from being who God says we should be. The youth of today are being bombarded with outside
influences such as music, television, friends, peer pressure etc that seek to shake the very foundation on which they stand and to take away their
belief in God. Our prayers are with these young people and all the other youth across the world, that are making the choice to Stand for
Righteousness and Holiness and lift the standard high, proclaiming the Blood Stain Banner of Jesus Christ and that Salvation is available to all
who believe. They have chosen to use this medium of the internet magazine to share the Gospel to everyone. Covering topics which range from
fashion geared for Christian youth to Real talk, issues they face daily, and the Word of God, they have done an excellent job of sharing in
their own way.
It is my privilege to Shepherd these vibrant young ones and to watch them grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. So to you the
R-ighteously E-xalted Generation continue in excellence as unto the Lord knowing that God is pleased with your labor.
To the team leaders who have done an excellent job in keeping our youth in line with the Word of God- you are simply –THE BEST.
May the blessings of Abraham and the Favor of Almighty God be upon the youth department of RLM and all that you do and
I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus. You are loved and the world is a better place because of you our youth at RLM.

Exploring Dance WHAT IS DANCE? Dance is an art form that generally refers to movement
of the body, usually rhythmic and to music, used as a form of expression, social in-
teraction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.
HOW DO I USE DANCE? Dance without God is exercise, but dance
with God is dancing with purpose. Its my way of worship. I can dance the dance of
healing or dance the dance of salvation. Dance is whatever you need it to be at that
time. You can find your happiness through dance. I know I do!
Psalms 150:4 says “Praise him with tambourines and dancing. Praise him with
stringed instruments and flutes”. I asked a fellow RLM youth member “How do use
YOUR dance?” This beautiful gift that God has given to you! How do you use it? His
response was “I find dance a compelling way to communicate. Not everyone has the
gift of communication, but dance gives you the opportunity to express how you feel
without the need of words. i.e.. Miming. Dance always finds a way to incorporate
itself into my music. when I'm creating music I envision people dancing. Not alone
"Just Dancing" but actually getting in touch with how I feel or how I felt while I was
making the very music they dance to. That is how i use my dance ministry.” So
there you have it! Dance, and dance for the glory of the Lord! Forget about all your
problems and JUST DANCE!

By: Torriamanda Hunte Team Ruby “Education is the key to success!” so the saying goes. Yet still many people take this say-
ing for lightly. Did you know that every single school day 7,200 students dropped out of
high school in the year 2009? This number continues to increase daily. There are many rea-
sons for this high rate of drop outs like the students are getting bad grades and giving up,
they can even be pregnant or they may even have to drop out to work full time to help their
families. This is so unfortunate if education is truly the key to success. In my opinion education really is the key to success. Proverbs 2:10,11 states that When
wisdom enters into your heart and knowledge itself becomes pleasant to your very soul,
thinking ability itself will keep guard over you. So I am encouraging all young people in
America to take full advantage of the privilege that many young people in surrounding
countries would love to have. It hurts to see such a high rate of dropouts. There is no rea-
son that a high school graduate should work at McDonalds all there life struggling to pro-
vide for their family, when there is so much of an opportunity to better yourself here in
America. For instance instead of watching television pick up a book and read, study for a
test, or do your school work, ask questions if you do not understand your work. Apply
yourself and your mind, you would be surprised with your success. If you do so you can
succeed at anything you try, with God’s help. America is the nation of new beginnings that
is why so many people from different countries come here to start their families and get the
education we American’s take for granted. So beat what the statistics say and stay in school.
And remember: “The fear of the lord is wisdom and knowledge: but fools despise wis-
dom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7
Bad Investments by Star
Athletes
By: Adrian McCoy- Team Emerald In today's world of corporate bailouts, economic backpedaling and political bickering, we still find the money to pay our star athletes more
than modest fortunes for their fame and glory on the field. Many star athletes are able to build and maintain their wealth through savings and
investments, but not all who cash big checks are successful with their money management.
Roy Halladay, Patrick Ewing, Erik Bedard
Real Estate Properties. An investor group -- which includes Roy Halladay, Patrick Ewing, Erik Bedard and several other professional athletes --
recently loaned and lost millions of dollars to real estate company Atherton-Newport. Atherton-Newport used the unsecured loans to partner
with Fidelity Investments for approximately $97 million worth of real estate properties. Atherton-Newport defaulted on their obligations,
declared bankruptcy and currently has no money available to pay back the athletically-gifted investor group.
Deuce McAllister
Nissan Car Dealership. In 2010, Deuce McAllister formally retired from the NFL as the Saints' all-time leading rusher, a two-time Pro Bowler,
Super Bowl champion and perennial fan-favorite in the Big Easy. Unfortunately, McAlister's Nissan car dealership in Jackson, Mississippi --
Deuce McAllister Nissan -- wasn't as successful as his football career, and the dealership filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2009.
According to sources, Nissan sued McAllister for approximately $7 million on defaulted loans, interest and exceeded credit limits.
Michael Vick
Wine Shop/Car Rentals/Real Estate. Where to begin?! By now you should be familiar with Vick's history of dog-fighting charges and time
served in prison, but that wasn't all he was charged with in the end. In 2008, Vick also filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy because he was unable
to repay $6 million in loans used to invest in a variety of business ventures, which included a car rental operation in Indiana, real estate in
Canada and a wine shop in Georgia. Since his release from prison, Vick has been able to turn his finances and career around for a positive
trajectory once again
All of these athletes invested in things they thought would pay off in the long run, but the only guaranteed lucrative in-
vestment is your investment in Christ. In Galatians 6:7 it says whatever you sew, you shall surely reap. That means good or bad.
That ’ s why It is good to give or invest into Gods work, The Bible says Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap
a good measure-- pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you
in return." - Luke 6:38

Fashion in R.L.M. is one of the many important things in the youth department
other than our love of God and his word. We strive for the best in everything we
do! The youth department has many different age groups and we all have our dif-
ferent styles or as we call it “SWAG”! Above are some of our many different
styles.

Modest and Cute
Regenerating Lives Ministries Youth Girls has a variety of different hairstyles that we wear. Our outfits
are always on point, so without a shadow of a doubt our hair is going to be put together. For us becom-
ing so modest and lovely, we get complemented by members at church. We withhold a very high stan-
dard, and to keep that we have to keep up with our hair, and just look beautiful (which is easy). Also,
don’t forget about the nails. Yes, we do our nails. If everything else is done, I can’t see why we can’t do
our nails. Still, the nails can’t be loud and obnoxious! They can be cute and sassy.

WORLD?
CHRISTIANS AND THEIR
BLESSINGS
SO MANY FACES, SO LIT-

Really Now?
ADDRESSING THE MANY THINGS MOST PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO SAY . .BUT IN A DIFFERENT WA Y
A servant, who indulged in sprees during which he spent all his money, was
advised by his master to save against a rainy day.
A week later, the master inquired if any saving had been accomplished.
"Oh, yes, indeed, sir," the servant responded. "But, you see, sir, it rained
yesterday, and it all went."
The Pastor is working in his office one day when a very excited deacon
comes rushing down the hall, papers flying.
"Pastor! Pastor! I have news!" the deacon pants as he skids into the
room.
The Pastor looks up patiently from his work and asks, "What is your
news, Deacon?"
"Jesus is back! He's coming here right now! What should we do?!
What should we do?!"
The Pastor smiles and picks up his papers and a pen and answers,
"Look busy."
A shopkeeper
with no con-
science put by
his door a box
with a slit in the
cover and a label
reading, "For
the Blind."
A month
later, the box
disappeared.
When some one
inquired con-
cerning it, the
shopkeeper
chuckled, and
pointed to the
window.
"I collected
enough," he ex-
plained. "There's
the new blind."
Did you ever wonder??....
-Did you ever wonder why people ask for the truth but criticize or bash you for being too blunt?
-Did you ever wonder why little people are so determined on doing big things?
The young members of the family had
been taught to give generously. One
Sunday morning, when the boxes were
being passed, James, aged six, ran his
eye over those in the pew, and noticed
that a guest of his sister had no coin
in her hand.
"Where is your money?" he whis-
pered.
She answered that she hadn't any.
But James was equal to the emer-
gency:
"Here, take mine," he directed.
"That'll pay for you. I'll get under the
seat."

The world we live in today is much
different from what it was 30 years
ago. The first computers were large ,
slow and only used by a few people.
There was either no internet or it was
tiny and only available to scientists
and researchers. A mouse was a pest,
a virus was treated with antibiotics
and a hard drive meant touring
along an unpaved road. In the early seventies our television was an
old black and white one. The screen was almost round and it took a
long time to start providing an image after it was turned. It worked
with valves which glowed and produced a lot of heat. Telephones have
also come a long way, from the old manual operator windup phones
to the scrambler dials of the sixties and seventies.

Now instead of those big bulky round TV’s, they’re flat! And you can even hang
them on the wall! Cool huh? There’s a lot more channels to choose from and its in
color. Computers have come along way too. They have some flat screen monitors,
touch screen monitors, and most laptops now come with a webcam BUILT IN! Cell
phones are doing much better on reception, and they don't have that huge antenna
either. WALK MANS? We don't use those anymore. Now they have iPods. A mp4
player that holds up to thousand of songs! Now tell me that’s not living!!

Real Talk!
The worst way to go to hell is through
church. That's like working hard for an F in
school. You don’t have to do anything to
fail- LITERALLY. You can fool the teacher
into believing you're doing your work. You
know how we do sometimes- procrastinate
doing our work and when the teacher
walks around the classroom we pick up
our writing utensil and begin to scribble.
We can fool our teachers but whether or
not we're paying attention will show when
a test is given. Sometimes we as Christians
try to fool GOD into thinking we're doing
his work but he knows our true intentions
and if we are aware of what we're doing
and don't correct ourselves he WILL. . . .
and that’s REAL TALK !
IN THE MUSIC
iINTRODUCE!
Music! What is Music? Music is Soothing; Music is up-
lifting when put in the right artists hands. As you
can see on the right of this page, Artists whose
music are both uplifting and inspiration and music
that changes lives positively. Everyone has a song
to sing but some people don’t use music. They
may use books or poems that express themselves.
In this issue of “IN THE MUSIC” I introduce myself.
I’m Jerome C. Clunis my hobbies are playing lots of
basketball, shopping, listening to music, eating
and music. I’m 19 years old favorite color grey and
on the way to college. I’m going to let you know
why music is a good section for me to target. I’m
involved in music; I produce beats and also record
tracks along with friends in this magazine. In the
next issue I will get deeper into music and discuss
this amazing thing that many people listen to everyday
either on their way to work or on the bus to schools;
Gospel music that is. I Love music; I enjoy listening to
music and creating my own music. It’s a way to past
time or just relax and vibe. I am Jerome C. and this is
“IN THE MUSIC”.

We all go through situations in our lives that call for smart decision-making skills, if we lack these skills, we
can find ourselves making the wrong choices most of the time. What helps us make smart decisions is a combination of
the wisdom we ask God for when we pray and what I like to call our “game mentality”.
I like to look at certain situations and think, how would I approach this in a basketball game? For example, you’re at
school, equivalent to the free-throw line, and there are all these distractions around you, just like the hecklers in the
stands and the opposing team that’s trying to get you to miss your target, which is your education, your goal.
The most calming thing you can do at the foul line is meditate..., it gets you relaxed, and it helps to block out the
distractions...then, When you are ready, you shoot.
That is how we should approach school or anywhere were you know there will be temptations...instead of meditating we
pray and ask God for wisdom and for the strength to get through another day.
We do this because we know prayer is effective, (1 John 5:14-15) says this is the confidence we have in approaching
God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask -
we know that we have what we asked of him"
I think of walking in God’s word as staying in bounds during a game, but unlike the referees, God will forgive you for
stepping out. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
Even though we know of God’s mercy, we don’t want to repeatedly sin and keep repenting because that isn’t pleasing
unto Him.
We want to do our best in this game to win and our prize is Heaven.
But during the game we will face adversity, but Paul said it best in second Corinthians chapter 4: 8-9—
“We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted but not for-
saken, struck down but not destroyed.
The key to overcoming adversity is to face it with courage, perseverance and faith that God
will get you through it. Remember that he has ultimate control over all your Situations.
One of the Great basketball players I look up to is David Robinson; He was a Christian and a
believer that you can do all things through Christ.
He said during an interview “if you walk with God, you can have victory—even when things get
really tough”
Got Game?

Team Emerald
Another Legend I look up to is Julius Erving, best known as Doctor J, He said, “when I gave my life to Jesus
Christ
“I began to understand my true purpose for being here…the purpose of life is to be found through having Christ
in your life, Understanding what his plan is, and following that plan...Since I asked Christ to be my lord and
savior, there are still some peaks and valleys. But I am being operated on the greatest doctor of them all, so
the glory goes to him.”
We should do the same and heed to God’s will, and through it all give him all the glory.
1 Chronicles 16:29 says Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name
These basketball players were lighthouses in their locker rooms, setting examples for others around them and
giving lessons on not only how to win a game, but to win Everlasting Life.
We should be lighthouses at work, school, and even on Facebook. When you shine your light you may inspire
someone that was lost to come to Christ.
So...Do You Got Game?
Do you have the strength and wisdom to overcome the challenges in your life?
Are you willing to be the star, a shining light to non believers? Or will you ride the bench the entire game and
just hope that you’ll win...But let me ask you this...isn’t the bench out of bounds?, when you’re not in the game
you have no control over what happens...So I urge each and every one of you...To get in the game and go for
the championship, which is heaven!
Fruits are one of the body’s main source
of energy (scientifically speaking). Now
if we go into biblical terms fruits were
the first things that God gave Adam and
Eve to eat. Reason being that God
made fruits the healthiest things to eat in
the world (next to veggies, but that’s for
another time). Eating different fruits
effects he body in different ways. Here
are some fruits and there effects.
Health
Focus: What Fruits contribute to the health of the body?
Hello everyone this is the first issue
of the Health article for the RLM
youth magazine. I will be the host of
this section. Now lets get this started.
Acai Berry- Recent revelations establish that it has no extra beneficial nutrients than some of commonly used
fruits like mango, blueberry, pomegranate etc. This berry has been traditional staple food of Amazon basin tribes but recently
has gained recognition in the United States as so-called "super food.” Nonetheless, this wonderful berry has very good levels
of anti-oxidants, minerals, and vitamins that would benefit overall health and fitness.
Banana- Go for banana fruit, nature's own energy rich food that comes in a safety envelope! Fresh, delicious ba-
nanas are available year around and are very cheap. Botanically, the fruit belongs to the family of Musaceae. Commercially, it
is one of the widely cultivated crops in the tropical and subtropical zones.
Avocado-Avocados are distinct fruits with high fat content and calories. Subtly flavorful yet buttery, they are amongst
the most popular fruits having nutrition profile similar to that of some edible nuts and seeds.
Some of the common names for this staple fruit are alligator pear, aguacate, butter pear etc.

baseball season the New York Yankees were defeated by the Detroit Tigers in game 5 of the ALDS game. The Tigers scored three home runs the first two in in the first inning .Then Yankees Robinson Canow scored one home runs, then one by Derek Jeter . Alex Rodriguez was the last to bat in the bottom of the 9th ,he struck out quickly putting the Yankees out of the playoffs for a second year .The score at the end Tigers won 3-2 . Giving them a spot with Texas, Seattle and Milwaukee. For the playoffs which
will be interesting to watch with the Yankees out.
