OPEN - AIR MUSEUM IN VINEYARDS OF SVÄTÝ JURConceptOpen - air Museum is located on the site A. It´s an exterior exposition and relax space connected to educational walkway of Svätý Jur. We designed a simple furniture (information tables, benches) and viewpoint with shel-ter. Everything in designed in wood. On the top of the rock, there is loca-ted roofed viewpoint. It´s not a vertical, because the view is satisfactory. Terrain of the open - air museum is adjusted to bellow the rock, there is a surface for relaxation with roofed shelter and other furniture. The rest od the terrain is terraced using gabion walls. There is demonstration of viney-ard and orchard. Vine guard house is kept and it will be reconstructed to its original appearance.
WINE CENTRE FOR ADVENTURE OF SVÄTÝ JURUrban designThe building of Wine Centre for Adventure is located on the site B, there is possibility to connent it with educational walkway of Svätý Jur and also from Svätý Jur over the site C. This way is a journey trough the vineyards, the second way provides a connection with exterior exposition of Open - air Museum. With its location building reacts to landscaping connection and fits into the natural character of the vineyard.
ConceptThe building is a window to nature. It opens the view to Svätý Jur and also it doesn´t disturb nature with its size. Shape of the building is shaped by the contours because of it, opened is just east facade which provides view to the vineyards and Svätý Jur. From the upper path the building is almost invisible, covered with walkable green roof. It is also used like a viewpoint.
Disposition (operating) solutionIt´s a building with one overgroung floor and one undergroud floor. The ground floor which is covered with soil largely is used like representatio-nal space of centre. We entering to exibition hall with reception, on the first side there is cafe and on the second side there is multipurpose hall witch is variable and used for lectures. The underground floor is used for introduction of wine production. There is the tasting room and sample production where the visitors can go trough and relate to the environment among the vineyards. Back side of the building creates its background.
Structural and material solutionStructure of the building is from reinforced concrete. On the ground, fitted with reinforced concrete walls, ceiling tile is plotted with columns. Facade is composed of glass panes. The rest of the facade is designed with expo-sed concrete. The building is set into the ground so that it forms part of the retaining wall of concrete for the match with terrain. This walls are gra-dually decreasing. Terrain between entry is terraced using gabion walls.
Energy self-sufficiencyThe building is set into the ground largely so it´s cooled. Glass facade on the contrary, provides solar gains that are accumulated into accumulati-on wall. Leading concrete slab creates inadequate shielding glass facade. Connection to electric energy will be necessary, because of the near posi-toon the villa it should be real.
