Reflection

The lesson objectives and expectations were not communicated to pupils –though they were mentioned in the lesson plan. The teacher has established a very good relationship with pupils.

The class was rather quiet & passive – some passive kids could have been checked (learning environment)

Modelling could have been used to help pupils recall & learn during revision class.Although the teacher checked & discussed with individual pupils but he could have addressed the common problems in the class.

Reflection

• Strong lesson planning

• Learning objectives and expectations were communicated to pupils

• Learning activity was successfully launched and analysis based on each group’s work catered needs of different learning styles.

• AFLs: Self assessment, peer assessment and Teacher’s assessment.

• Teacher Talk Learners centered, provided enough opportunities to apply new knowledge to something they already know.
