1. What were your most memorable moments during the activity?

• The first fieldwork in in Lambakin, Marilao Bulacan wherein we were assigned to teach Kids was very memorable to me. We met new friends, the little childrren we taught were very enthusiastic and participative, I liked all of them especially those little ones who were ever so sweet to us, giving us free hugs and kisses..

• I would never forget the look on their faces after our class, they bid us good bye with big smiles and with heart warming “Thank you ate/ kuya”. There are Kids who have the opportunity to go to school yet they take this for granted, then ironically there were these kids who despite their unfortunate condition are really eager to learn.

• The activity was so memorable that it left an impact on me, significantlythe activity had given me an opportunity to have such experience wherein I had a view on the other side of life which I am not used to. In the activity I felt the Thomasian Spirit, where in competence, commitment and compassion were practiced. I have

• learned competence in both field works, where in I learned to be dedicated to finish what we have started. I have learned commitment through those construction workers who were so dedicated to finish the work they were committed to finish. I have learned compassion, in those kids that we taught; passionate to help those kids by inspiring them in their studies and to somehow be a role model for them.

3. What significant impact did the activity create on the partner community?• For the partner community, first with the children

in Bulacan, I think one impact the activity created is that we were able to give them an idea that there are still others who still care about them that there are people who would be willing to help them out in their situation. We were there to be a role model and I think we did not fail to do our part, I know that what we did and said as their ate and kuya somehow made a significant impact

• on them. For the other community in Bataan, the impact that we made an impression that we Thomasians are willing to help in whatever ways that we could. It might have been difficult for some of us because that was understandable since not all of us were used to doing such work, yet I have seen the willingness of my fellow classmates to work, and I know that the workers have seen this as well.
