What do you smell?

Given that the neroli note is fairly strong in the top of Reflection, and I happen to like neroli for its woody-sweet freshness, I think this fragrance is okay. It's not a real winner from Amouage, though. Sieuzac evidently wants the sweetest woodsy notes available to collaborate in this "fresh" scent, and while it does smell clean and soapy and green, it fails to meet its price-point. The jasmine, patchouli, some anonymously spicy note, and transparent cedar are densely wedded into an assertive, soapy accord. The references to Le Male are apt, although it's quite different in its way, with a greener structure (it's not as barbershoppy). I think this smells quite a bit like a higher-quality version of Perry Ellis' Portfolio Green, which is either a resounding failure or a moderately wearable success, depending on what you think of that fragrance. Spending over $200 on a bottle of Reflection Man is ultimately a reflection on your presumably inordinate wealth, where that kind of money buys you and two of your friends lunch on a Tuesday afternoon.Show Less

I LOOOOVE this one! Totally spring scent! Imagine a new biological beginning after winter and you get this one! Floral, sweet yes but also very fresh and well balanced...I even smell Mimosa although it is not listed as an ingredient. Probably the "youngest smelling" of the Amouage range.

Reflection Man by Amouage is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. Reflection Man was launched in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Lucas Sieuzac. Top notes are rosemary, pink pepper and petitgrain; middle notes are orris root, jasmine, neroli and ylang-ylang; base notes are sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver and cedar.
