ReflectionIt was a rewarding process throughout this assignment which gave me the greatest experience and responsibility of collecting information and collaborating with assignment partners Kirubah and Dahrshini. I would to thank them for all their support and commitment during the process of completing this assignment. I faced a lot of problems but Mr. Puveneswaran Karuppiah gave me a lot of guidance and assistance which enabled me to understand the key concept and main points of this assignment. Besides that, I often discuss with my group mates and try to learn something new from them so that I will not make any silly mistakes.Throughout my coursework, I have greatly polished my critical analysis skills. Instead of focusing on proposed meanings, I have learned to continuously ask "why" on many different levels. I challenge myself to dig into many books and other sources as deeply as possible and unpack every detail to develop a satisfying close read about. Also, by reading multiple books and articles from the internet I have learned to identify different information on different activities and bibliotherapy, this helped me develop a deeper understanding of the topic.The new knowledge and experience can help me to become a better language learner because in the future I will be an English Language teacher. It would be very easy for me because I can be able to teach the pupils using the correct teaching method. I obtained a lot of knowledge and skills from this coursework. It was indeed a challenging semester and I gained a lot of new information especially about various activities for primary school pupils and bibliotherapy. I realized that this coursework was very challenging and quite inviting to me and I am so happy that I was able to complete this coursework although it may have some minor errors. This assignment also gave me a good opportunity to learn from my mistakes, that I should not procrastinate my work so that I will not burden with too many works.All things are difficult before they are made easy and understood. Therefore, in order to succeed, we must first believe that everything is possible when we have a willing mind that searches for information. It was a rewarding process throughout this assignment which gave me the greatest experience and responsibility of collecting information, searching and communicating with lecturers, course-mates and the people around me. I faced a few problems in completing this assignment. So it was an uphill task for me to complete this assignment but I managed to decipher this problem by dividing and managing my time wisely. I also came up with a time-table which enabled me to complete the assignment on time.The activity that I designed will be very useful for me when go to school later on. I will be able to conduct activities which are very interesting and students will not get bored. I also got to know how to conduct games in the classroom. Before conducting a game I should prepare everything carefully so that all the students can participate. In addition, I realised that bibliotherapy is a potentially powerful method for teachers to use on many levels and in every school grade. It is just another tool in a teachers box to deal with the varied emotional, behavioral, and social issues of her students.This assignment was indeed very interesting and had taught me a lot. I discovered many creative methods that can be used to teach literature. It is amazing to discover so many methods that I had never seen or heard of because most of the teachers in Malaysia prefer to teach by just reading and doing exercise. Moreover, we must also bear in mind that literature is not only a component, but also a tool or weapon that teachers all over Malaysia can use to deal with childrens concern.The expertise I obtained from this assignment was very useful for me. I will surely apply this knowledge in my journey as an ESL teacher. This could be very essential for me because it would make my work easier in my future.
