Econium Health, are a start-up company based in Rhondda Cynon Taf, who focus on the delivery of innovative solutions for healthcare education. All healthcare professionals undertake continuous

professional development (CPD) and a component

of this is reflection. Reflection is a process to

complement learning with self-improvement.

Currently, there is no easy way of recording your

thoughts relating to a particular CPD exercise,

such as a lecture. Econium Health came up with

the idea for the Reflect on CPD app, designed to

make reflection a simple and immediate process

for the healthcare professional.

Users are able to reflect on what they have learnt

at a conference, lecture or other CPD session.

The collated material can then be easily exported

with the information accurately and concisely

recorded in a format appropriate for healthcare

professionals medical journal.

The app has a host of great features including

voice recognition which enables users to give

voice to text response making note taking easier.

CEMAS have done an excellent job on the project. They have an excellent team of programmers who have carefully delivered the product from the defined specification. It has been a very
