As a Lecturer at Department of Infrastructure Engineering, University of Melbourne in

Australia, I am considered as an expert in the areas of civil engineering, specialised in

materials for construction. I have authored and co-authored a large number of technical

papers in leading journals and conferences. I am serving also as a committee member for

many professional organisations. Thanks to my current position, I have had the privilege to

meet Aditya Ranjan, and it is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for him. I got to

know Aditya as a top Master student in Infrastructure Engineering and also one of the top

students in the School of Engineering, where he successfully had the highest marks in the 2

subjects I teach, which are Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Materials.

Having advised many students, I consider Aditya to be one of the best. In addition to his

outstanding intellectual abilities, he has a pleasant personality compulsory for team work. He

is an effective organiser of work and activities, both at an official and unofficial level, and is

a hard worker.

It has been an absolute pleasure to be Aditya’s professor and I’m sure that he will be an asset

to your company and an investment into his future will pay handsome dividends. Most young

people with Ranjan’s talents will be taken away before the end of their degree, so it’s an
