President’s Message…. Hello to you all!
I hope you and your families are well. I know
you join me in wishing the best for all those in
our world that are suffering from the recent hurri-
canes and earthquakes effecting so many. We
all can send our thoughts and prayers, as well as
any other donation you can make.
Thank you to Suzanne Chappell for running our
September meeting and a big thank you to all
the spinners for their participation in the pro-
gram. I hope everyone enjoyed the fiber spin. I’d
also like to thank Kathy Riggs for her service to
the guild as our newsletter editor and Erica
Bowlin for volunteering to take over the job from
Kathy. They will be working together for our next
few newsletters, so look out for a new sender of
our newsletter information. Thanks to you both
for your work! I love to see that spirit of volun-
teering—that’s what makes our guild tick.
Our next meeting looks like a lot of fun. Remem-
ber that our October meeting will be on the third
Monday, October 16th!
Keep weaving, spinning, dyeing and creating as
well as sending those good thoughts out to those
who are suffering.

October 16th Meeting
Bring whatever your current project is to work
on and share with guild members. It’s a great
time to see what other members are doing
and learn from their experience and get
motivated to try something new.
The holidays are fast approaching so maybe
there will be a few gift ideas shared.
