REECE AUSTRALIA We proudly present our Reece Australia catalogue for the 2016/2017 season, featuring premium quality team clothing, hockey accessories and some new additions to our range.

In the teamwear collection you’ll find our popular match clothing, supplemented with some new colours, plus a new, lighter and even more comfortable tracksuit. Special Design options are also listed. This season, the sportswear section includes a Limited Edition collection of stylish items that are suitable for all-round multisports use. You can find out more on page 64.

The appearance and characteristics of many of our Reece products has been updated with new colours and prints. In addition, the stick-collection has been further improved and expanded with top models like the RX Skill, RX Power and RX. The range offers sticks for all abilities (see page 103 for an overview) and we are very pleased to say that more and more hockey players are now playing with Reece hockey sticks.

OXTED HOCKEY CLUB, OXTED, SURREY, UNITED KINGDOM

The players of the German team were closely involved with the design of the national shirts. In several brain-storming sessions, the players and the designers from Reece Australia, looked for the optimum appearance for the team.

The collar of the shirts is inspired from the beak of the German eagle. This symbol of Germany stands for unity and in this particular case that

especially means: team spirit. The dots on the shirt reflect the dynamics of the game, the speed, the highs and lows. The ladies shirts have a fine piping, on the men’s shirts it’s broader and more powerful.

Oxted Hockey Club is the only club to have been in the National League East since it's inception. OHC is a family orientated club that caters for its members of all

ages, from 6 to 66. Last season saw the Men's 1st team reached the EH cup semi final, while the Ladies reached the final of the EH Vase for the second year in a row

(having won the Vase in 2012).

The collaboration between the reigning champion and Reece started

in 2010. MHC Oranje-Zwart (From 1-7: HC Oranje-Rood) is one of the

most successful clubs in the Dutch hockey league. The Eindhoven hockey

club was founded in 1933 and can still enjoy growing popularity and

increasing media attention. Ton van der Schoot, board member of MHC Oran-

je-Zwart, about Reece: "Reece Australia is an inspiring partner. As MHC Oranje-

The design of the Belgian uniforms is closely related with the symbol of the country. In letters of gold it contains the magic words L’union

fait la force, or Unity is strength. This sentence forms the base of the de-sign. Also the mantle of the weapon is reflected in the shirts: the shape of the white spots on the inside of the red cloak is incorporated into the mesh of the shirts.

The ladies shirts have a fine piping, and on the men’s shirts it is broader and powerful. Because of the successful result, Reece Australia incorporated the details of the Belgian kit into the design of the Reece Core Shirt.

SV Kampong and Reece are two parties who both prefer

long-term relationships. That's one of the reasons why we

fit well together. Also we both passionately aim for the

highest possible result. SV Kampong was founded in

1935 and now has more than 3000 members. The first men’s

team is a eight-time Dutch champion in field hockey, the

first women’s team won the national championship three

SHIRTSA special design shirt can be designed based on sublimation or cut & sew technique. In case of sublimation the design is fully pressed into the shirt, including sponsor logos and club logo. Thus any design is possible, in any colour. With cut & sew, separately deployed colour pat-ches are sewn together. A choi-ce can be made from different collars and the club logo can be embroidered. The fit of the shirt with both techniques is similar to the Isa and Darwin polo from the Reece collection. The material is always high quality ClimaTec: 100% dry fit, colourfast, breatha-ble and moisture wicking.

Every hockey stick from the Reece Australia collection offers top quality and performance. This explains why our brand ambassadors, who play field hockey at the highest level and also many amateur players each week, have made Reece their preferred choice. With their own specific needs and preferences, they have chosen a stick from the Reece range that precisely fits their playing style. That is how we develop our collection of Reece sticks: young or older, professional or amateur, Reece always has a stick that corresponds exactly to your needs. Each stick of Reece has its own material mix which results in a specific stiffness and the associated properties. In addition, the bend, the balance point and the length of the stick are important as these differences determine personal preferences and playing styles.

MATERIALMost of our junior sticks consist of a combination of wood and fiberglass. While most senior sticks are made of synthetic material ,com-binations of carbon, kevlar, aramid and fiberglass. The ratio between these materials is decisive for the stiffness, the weight and feel of the stick. The exact composition can be found on each stick and in the product information text. » carbon: for extra stiffness and strength» aramid/kevlar: for vibration absorbing and impact reduction» fiberglass: for durability and strength» wood: for an optimal ball feeling

The percentage of carbon in a stick is an important indicator of the stiffness. The stiffer the hockey stick, the lower the energy loss in the bend of the stick. For this reason, players often choose sticks with a high carbon content when they’re playing with strength and power. A less stiff stick enhances ball control. Ball control is important for the development of technique.

BOW / CURVATUREAlso, the curvature of a hockey stick is a very key feature. The curvature of the stick is referred to in millimetres and varies between 22 mm and 25 mm (with Reece). The greater the curvature, the more technical the game of the player often is. Playing with a strong curva-ture therefore requires some practice. The bow indicates at what point the curvature begins in the stick. This can vary from a regular, medium to late bow.

LENGTHHockey sticks are available from size 24” up to size 36,5”. Especially for children it is important to purchase the right size stick. Too short a stick decreases the impact force and has a negative influence on the body posture. A stick that is too long will cause difficulties with ball control and develops the wrong technique. The table gives a good indication of the right stick length at each height. But make sure you always get good advise with this!

NANO TUBE TECHNOLOGYSticks with this technology are made of hyper carbon fibre for even more power and feel. Hyper carbon provides high impact reduction and captures hard balls easily.

IDSThe IDS abbreviation stands for Integrated Damping System. The cap of the grip of the stick reduces vibration. This reduces the chance of arm injuries and allows for a smooth passage of the ball.

ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHTWith ultra light weight sticks, dribbling uses less force. In combination with a high carbon content, this delivers a light weight stick that allows the player to hit the ball hard.

XL-GRIPBecause many players have indicated that they find a longer grip more pleasant when playing, many sticks of Reece have an extra long grip.

Sponsorship AGREEMENT


TEAM SPORTS

The package is an ideal opportunity for any reasonably sized club or organisation looking to form a solid stable partnership with a reputable teamwear brand. We guarantee you excellent stock levels, product continuity, fantastic service, and a great quality product!

We can also show you how to create your clubs identity by choosing from our wide selection of products and using our unique teamdresser system (www.teamdresser.com). This program is aimed at clubs, univer-sities, colleges, local authorities and business organisations.

The club or the beneficiary will receive an amount of free Reece Austra-lia products from the sponsor (Reece Australia), dependant on how much the club or organisation spends over the length of the agreement.

The agreement is based on either a 2 or a 3 year deal. An example of how this new agreement works is that if a club/organisation spends £ 4000.00 per annum (at Reece Australia RR prices) over a 3 year period they would be entitled to £ 900.00 of free products. Obviously the more the spend the greater the amount of free products.

At the beginning of the agreement, after the contract has been signed, the club will place an order with the sponsor (via its selected retailer). When the amount reaches the minimum spend, as per the agreement, the club will receive an amount of free products as agreed and of their choice.

If no order is received, or the orders do not reach the agreed value, then no free products will be provided. In addition Reece Australia will also show you how to merchandise selected products to your members and friends and generate an income for your club or organisation.

The club flyer is a fantastic tool to present all your clubs product and maximise sales. Present your entire clubcollection, easy handouts to all your members, with a great design, utilise the Reece Australia club flyer!Display replica shirts, rainwear and trai-ningwear. With all of these publications, your club will be able to customise and produce all of these documents.

High technical quality. By combining different yarns the garments are very comfortable and suitable for sport and leisure use. Suitable for training and in-tensive use, colour and shape retaining. Suitable for printing.

High quality, very comfortable. Light weight. Wa-ter- and windproof, pu-coated, with taped seams, and breathable. The advanced microfiber yarns give optimal transportation of body fluid and keep you comfortable in various conditions.

High quality material, used in our thermal baselay-er. Stretchable, forms to the contours of the body and feels like a second skin. The material is light weight, dries quickly and is isolating, by retaining the body temperature.

Polypropylene is a thermal, ultra light fibre. It is moisture resis tant and moisture transportable. Poly-propylene is 100% real colour, un shrinkable and recyclable. It gives perfect comfort to your feet and avoids skin irritation. Polypropylene is specifically used for high-quality hockey socks.

Reece Australia products are suitable for printing all club and sponsor logos and badges, etc.
