BACKGROUND

• This section is an experiment to reduce biases people consciously or subconsciously may have towards Arabs

• You are not obligated to finish this experiment, but it would be very appreciated if you do.

• After analyzing the results from the first survey, I came up with a list of recurring trends that I noticed.

• These trends are specific to Arab peoples only.

• Please pay extra close attention to the next few slides. You do not have to memorize the trends, but you should be somewhat aware of them.

• Lower ratings of trustworthiness

• Higher ratings of aggressiveness

• Lower ratings of likeability

Men with LONG BEARDS tend to receive:•Higher ratings of aggressiveness

OLDER MEN tend to receive:•Lower ratings of attractiveness
