A NIGHT IN OLD HOLLYWOOD2019 ARTSWINTHROP GALA

Over the last 30 years, creative mindshave converged onto WinthropUniversity’s campus and emerged readyto take the spotlight, developimaginative solutions, and become thecreative leaders of tomorrow. Many ofthese students could not have attendedWinthrop without the support ofscholarships made possible by thegenerosity of our donors. In 2019, ArtsWinthrop hosted itsinaugural “Old Hollywood” ScholarshipGala. Guests entered down the redcarpet as paparazzi bulbs flashed whileaerial dancers welcomed themalongside music from the WinthropSwingin’ Eagles jazz ensemble. Theevening was filled with the arts, withmusic from our faculty and students aswell as performances by our talenteddance students and an artworkexhibition. It was a night to remember!We are proud to say that in our first yearwe were able to successfully raise fundsfor students pursuing a degree in visualand performing arts at WinthropUniversity.
