RECYCLING COLLECTION CHANGES RecycleBC.ca/Boundary NEW RECYCLING SERVICE PROVIDER Starting July 1, Recycle BC will be your recycling service provider. Recycle BC has contracted Alpine Disposal and Recycling Ltd. to collect your recycling. Recycle BC is responsible for residential packaging and printed paper recycling in BC, and directly provides recycling services to a number of communities throughout the province. More information about Recycle BC can be found at RecycleBC.ca. New collection containers and sorting instructions Recycling will now be collected in two separate blue boxes – one blue box for containers and one blue box for paper. These blue boxes have been delivered to your home and starting July 1, please separate your paper from containers and put paper in one blue box and containers in the other blue box for collection at the curb. There is no limit to the amount of recycling you can set out. Additional boxes can be ordered or used. Please no longer set out your recycling in plastic bags. The accepted materials you can recycle remain the same. Recycling collection schedule Your recycling collection schedule may change. Please review the enclosed Recycling Schedule to check your coloured zone and the corresponding coloured days on the calendar. Recycling schedule changes take effect July 1 and recycling will continue to be collected bi-weekly. Questions? The accepted materials you can recycle will stay the same, but some things will change.
