Recycling U.S. v.s. Japan The three R’s are what we need to make a healthy planet. They are reduce, reuse, and recycle. How about we zoom into these two countries? First up let’s go to Japan, Asia. The main objects recycled in Japan are plastic and bottles. Japan even has a law about recycling. And more than a billion chopsticks are recycled every year. Businesses are almost required to recycle. Which keeps Japan clean. Meanwhile in the U.S, the most recycled objects are asphalt, cardboard, metal cans, and paper. Unlike Japan the U.S. doesn’t have a national law about recycling. They also have many landfills that can cause pollution problems. So these countries have many differences about recycling I didn't say all of them though. Overall in my opinion Japan has a better recycling system than the U.S. Because they have incinerators that burn the trash. Instead landfills that just hold the trash until it can't fit in any more trash, then they make a new one.

Recycling U.S. v.s. JapanThe three R’s are what we need to make a healthy planet.
