Every movie every story involves, in one way or another, characters dealing with events that put them in challenging situations. These characters go through struggles, make decisions, and eventually have outcomes. This particular story is unique in the sense that it sheds light on the internal struggles of our character on his lack of awareness to his process and challenges. TTelling this story is important because it deals with emotions, awareness, and acceptance. These are the driving forces of personal transformation. Anyone who sets out to challenge their coping strategies, who question destructive behavior in pursuit of internal growth discovers the wonders of the self and has a shot to live a more fulfilling life.

As a filmmaker and a storyteller, I have always been fascinated with human behavior and the way people relate to each other, with the possibilities a person has if they only challenged their beliefs.

When we meet SupeWhen we meet Super, our hero, we find him in a state of denial of reality, destined to a life of self imposed isolation, angry and believing he can change his past or better yet, stuck in this self destructive strategy. As the story progresses he will find himself facing certain challenges like letting go of the past and finding love in the present.

Everybody has had in one way or another fantasized with the idea of changing their past. If we possessed this magic power, what would we change? But what we don’t realize is that change can only come with acceptance.

“Recycle” in essence is rebirth.“Recycle” in essence is rebirth. The message of this film is acceptance of the past. Coming to terms with our experiences however traumatic they might have been is essential to moving on. Our old beliefs can keep us trapped in destructive behaviors that are happening in the present unable to let us see that we have choices.

In this storIn this story, Super isolates himself and lives in fantasy, for her is unable to cope with his feelings of loss and betrayal. As the story progresses and his world is assaulted by different characters, Super’s struggle to come to terms with his past begins. We see Super on the brink of leaving his delusional world behind when he faces opportunities for love, friendship and self worth.

This is an uplifting comedy drama told in a light humoristic way. Even though it is a story of transformation and internal struggles that already might usually be treated in a heavy dramatic fashion. It is important to me that it is entertaining and filled with energy.

It will be filmed digitally with special interest to contrasting the environments to the characters. The stunning exterior of the building is only a façade as we discover its guts once we explore the dingy basement and tunnels where the Super hides. The building management office is bright but chaotic.

The wardrobe, the colors are juxtaposed to the moods of the characters. The wardrobe, the colors are juxtaposed to the moods of the characters. The tone mood or feel in general could flow from frustrating to hopeful. From desolate, sentimental to funny and even romantic the audience will be led to an uplifting resolution.
