What is CRV?

Beverage containers labeled CRV (CaliforniaRefund Value) can be redeemed at CertifiedRedemption Centers. The CRV deposit is 5

per container under 24 oz. and 10 percontainer 24 oz. or more.

Most recycling centers pay by the pound ifyou bring in a large load, so be sure to haveonly CRV containers to get the highestpossible refund. You also can request to bepaid on a per-container basis. If you bring inloads of fewer than 50 per material type justask the recycler to pay by count instead of byweight.
