• Telling jokes

Avoid any jokes based on race, sex, or ethnicity or those are vulgar in any way

Don’t allow your customers to tell jokes on the microphone.

Try to tie in your jokes to a passing or relevant attraction.

Keep your jokes as short as possible.

Don’t exclude corny jokes.

Draw on personal escorting experiences for humor.

• Working with different age groups:

• STUDENTS

• Pose special challenges in terms of discipline,

motivation, and interest level.

• Design to have longer hours, so as to avoid pandemonium in hotels.

• Keep asking questions.

• Use creative techniques to draw students into the experience.
