Sezgin was a Research Fellow in Andrology at the American Center for Reproductive Medicine from June to Nov 2014. During her stay in ACRM, Sezgin was involved in a bench research study on “Methylation Profile of Catalase (CAT) Gene Promoter in Oligozoospermic Infertile Males Exhibiting Oxidative Stress”. Avi was a Research Fellow in Andrology at the American Center for Reproductive Medicine from 2014 to 2015. He conducted advanced research in male infertility and andrology at ACRM. She validated the proteomic results by studying the localization and levels of expression of candidate proteins in spermatozoa and seminal plasma of varicocele patients.
