The Regional Health Centre comes under the jurisdiction of Alberta Health Services and was built in Camrose in 1977.The building faces two streets - 53rd Street on the west and 47th Avenue on the south. The 1254.0 square metres building was built in 1977. ABC Group D - Office. The 1977 original building has two storeys and non-combustible construction and isunsprinklered.

Electrical Summary:The building has been provided with an underground service obtained from a utility owned pad mounted transformerlocated on the south side of the property. An 800A, 120/208V, 3 phase, 4 wire main distribution centre has beenprovided in the electrical room. Breaker panels are located on the lower and upper levels. Lighting is provided byfluorescent fixtures that are equipped with T12 lamps, which are not energy efficient. It is recommended to replace thefixtures with energy efficient fixtures utilizing T8 lamps and electronic ballasts. The fire alarm system is of the hardwired type complete with detection devices and audible devices. It was installed in 1990. It is still supported by themanufacturer. The intrusion detection system was upgraded in 2004. Overall, the electrical systems are in acceptable condition.
