Cooperative determination of system and quantitiesWhether intended for a large-scale, a medium-sized, or a small enterprise, the Kellner & Kunz storage and retrieval system is adapt-ed flexibly to the operational conditions, the individual space and work situation, and the respective products.

Storage and retrieval by Kellner & Kunz is implemented via single and/or multiple bin system (flexible number of bins per article) - depend-ing on the available space and demand. to this end, we determine the maximum and minimum amount per article, per bin, and per retrieval point and/or workstation together with you.

reliable space planningWe take care of space planning, labelling, and marking. on request, we also integrate the inventory existing in your warehouse at the time of starting into the CpS system. At the agreed storage/retrieval inter-val we perform regular checks of the inventory via scanner (bar code). this ensures a 100% flexible and need-based supply of each retrieval system in your enterprise: you‘ll never have too few or too many pieces of an article, no matter how heavily used it may be at the moment - depending on the order situation.

Storage/retrieval of the KAnBAn bins by Kellner & Kunz is implemented via two bin or multiple bin system (flexible each article) - depending on the available space and demand. to this end, we‘ll define the fixed amounts each bin and number of bins per article, per bin and per retrieval point and/or workstation together with you. of course, this is permanently adapted to the current and varying consumption situation.

the inventory management of the futureBy implementing rfiD technology (radio frequency identification) Kellner & Kunz is breaking new ground in inventory management - especially in the KAnBAn system: electromagnetic waves permit „just in time“ online recording of your C-parts demand to be ordered. An rfiD transponder constitutes the heart of the system. it replaces the previously used manual scan-ning and reports consumption and demand in real time. Depending on the type, this transpon-der is installed either at your KAnBAn bins or at the labels. it registers each bin movement, and/or the dropping of a label into the designated box, thus reporting the requisitions - exactly when necessary.

RECA RFID iBox:the reCA rfiD iBox is a separate storing position serving as an „intel-ligent“ collecting point of the empty KAnBAn bins. from here re-ordering is effected directly.

As soon as an empty bin is put in, the rfiD transponder responds: the data are immediately transmitted to the SAp system of Kellner & Kunz.

RECA RFID iTagbox:the reCA rfiD itagbox is the solu-tion of choice, when your bins are to be filled and/or exchanged direct-ly in your enterprise. it can also be excellently applied at workplaces. in this case, the rfiD transponder is in-stalled at the labels of the KAnBAn bins. that‘s how it works: drop the labels of empty bins into the itag-box - that‘s it. A lamp signal at the reCA rfiD itagbox signals that the labels have been read successfully. And transmission of the data to the SAp system of Kellner & Kunz is com-pleted.

RECA RFID iShelf:the top shelf of KAnBAn shelves is a reCA rfiD iShelf, where you put your empty KAnBAn bins.

RECA RFID iTurn:the bin triggering the order on its own - quite simply just by turning it. And that‘s how it works: the goods are accommodated in a split bin sys-tem (consumption stock and safety stock). the installed rfiD transpon-der is looking backwards. As soon as the safety stock is reached, the empty bin is turned round. thus the transponder gets under a magnetic bar installed at the shelf front, which triggers an ordering signal.

RECA RFID iPush:the reCA rfiD ipush system inclu-des an ordering button installed on the reCA rfiD ipush. it has to be pushed to trigger an order. reCA rfiD ipush is particularly suitable for bulky or heavy articles, since the reCA rfiD ipush can be installed at bins, cabinets or shelves.

RECA RFID iWeight:the reCA rfiD iWeight system is based on the weight of the content. When the weight of a bin falls below the specified minimum weight, an order is triggered automatically.

Let‘s get this packedWhy order, manage, store, collect, pick, and package parts, accesso-ries, and components yourself when Kellner & Kunz can do it for you? in the service centre of the Kellner & Kunz AG logistics centre we compose for you customized packages, installation kits (RECA KIT), or components in line with your demands - ensuring highest precision and accuracy.

Customized installation kits (reCA Kit) and packagesespecially in mechanical engineering, in plant engineering and tool-building, in the furniture and the motor vehicle industry installation kits are required for installing and/or assembling your products on site.

We put these small parts together for you and pack them in blis-ter packaging, poly bags, cardboard or installation boxes, or also shrink-wrapped according to your wishes. mounting instructions and drawings or directions, but also stickers, type labels etc. are included in the packages. We also take care of delivery and storage/retrieval at the place of destination.

Just to make sure. therefore we attach great importance to securing your availability, keeping ready-made reCA Kits and/or packages on stock, but also a sufficient quantity of single items and components. So we are always prepared.

Single items are not only products from our scope of supply, but also products you produce yourself and/or procure from fixed suppliers. We integrate these articles in the packages for you.

Using different eDi connections in cooperation with Kellner & Kunz you get pretty close to completely paperless order processing and goods receipt processing. And one thing is for sure: it will substan-tially simplify and accelerate your ways of procurement. the connec-tion of your eDp system to the SAp system of Kellner & Kunz is very flexible, and the exchange of data is possible in the most various data formats such as eDifACt, SAp-iDoC, and XmL, as well as transmission of fixedly defined „txt“ or „excel“ formats.

Paperless processing? no problem with Kellner & Kunz: either via the eDi interface, the in-house data converter (mapping), our external clearing point, or via the web interface.
