Pasay has considerable movement of migrants into the city's low-income areas

The average Pasay household is 7 persons per household. The city has a total of 73,846 households.

Pasay is considered as one of the child trafficking hot spots having the highest number of bars and prostitution dens employing victims of trafficking.

There are still grade 5-6 students who are non-readers as per teachers’ assessment

Due to poverty, it is normal to see 3 or more families living under one roof

Pasay is awarded as a Child Friendly City
